We here at BH Blog Towers have seen a lot of unusual things in our time, but nothing beats Sir Terry Wogan being used as an agent of death in an effort to get Saul to drag Annie over to the other side...

THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is some damn fine telly.

So if you missed this episode, or the one before, what are you waiting for? Make sure you catch all the action on the marvellous BBC iPlayer and all the CenSSA updates over on Lloyd's website and YouTube channel.

And sorry, still not sure about the whereabouts of Lucy's goldfish. Mitchell was right, cat must have got it...

  • Comment number 1.

So now we know why Sir Terry had to quit his Radio Two programme. He's an agent of death . . . Can't do that sort of thing and get up at 4am to present a breakfast show.

  • Comment number 2.

Nice One Sir Terry...just had a thought though about the corridor....it did not look a very nice place to go to....but when the door opened for Gilbert...he smiled...maybe it reflects the sort of life you have lead. And didn't someone say it was a white corridor?...well it was red when Saul went in....ooh this is getting so complicated.

  • Comment number 3.

    Sorry manners....thanks TEAM

And if the tablets Saul was taking were to stop the voices in his head...well they didn't work did they?

  • Comment number 4.

Yes, thank you BHP but more info on Sir T's involvement, please!

Vampfan: Saul refers in Ep2 to the 'white light', which Annie obviously also saw. Maybe the red corridor was meant for her, as she'd rejected death, and then for Saul, as he failed to 'deliver' her?

  • Comment number 5.

Thanks mustardseed....could be, could be...it said that 'they' were not very happy with Annie didn't it

  • Comment number 6.

    Oh good another blog post...

Frostmaidan: hehe...yeah, the radio stuff took up too much of his time...he'd much prefer to be doing agent of death things :D

VF: Hello, nice to see you again! Wondered why the corridor was red...danger, perhaps? And Saul did leave Annie behind, so not all bad then...wonder if he'll come back to help her, thus making folks in heaven/hell/purgatory a bit more peed off..?

thought his pills were painkillers from the accident not antipsychotic meds (sorry I know a bit about this stuff)...but they could've been...the voices of the dead over-rode the effect they would have and got through to him via the medium of TV because he seems to watch a lot of it!

Mustardseed: Just read your bit about the red corridor being for Annie...could be, could be..

  • Comment number 7.

VF: Ahem...we haven't only synched our posts, we've synched our words...check out (5) and (6)...we've both said "could be, could be"..this is getting weirder and weirder...hehe

  • Comment number 8.

anglo....you are starting to scare me again....

  • Comment number 9.

Anglo + VF: you two are creepy. Sure you didn't arrange to do that just to freak the rest of us out?

  • Comment number 10.

Hi C....yep it's just anglo, The Prof, Lloyd and me!!

  • Comment number 11.

Anglo: regarding's Annie invisibility, wonder if she will ever be able to control when she can and can't be seen? Guess this is a question for TW...or possibly the 57th time he's been asked this?

  • Comment number 12.

Just been reading the last few posts on the last blog about identifying the Prof...in Dr. Who, before The Master was revealed we had seen posters of John Saxon? as in vote for...and also mention of the Prime Minister, Mr Saxon....and they had done it in such a clever way...we didn't realise we had seen them until they told us we had....sorry, did that make any sense at all? If not ask anglo...she knows what I'm thinking.

  • Comment number 13.

lol VF, Btw how are you? Haven't spoken to you for a while.

  • Comment number 14.

VF (12), yeah I think the Prof has gotta be someone we've seen. It would be mad to introduce another new character. We shall see anyway.

  • Comment number 15.

C....I'm well thanks although after EPs 1 and 2 my brain is hurting with so many questions....you?

  • Comment number 16.

Cieria: Afternoon hun...yeah, me and the Vampgirl are actually part of the whole plot...CenSSA needs people like us...just occasionally it comes out in the blog posts we do...I guess the DNA is just too alike hehe

And I didn't see VF's post as I hadn't refreshed..there's only a minute between hers and mine...my login never recovered from the time the site was altered back in November or October when all the passwords went weird...every time I post I have to wait x number of seconds, then I refresh, only then do any other posts before mine but after the one I'm replying to, appear...it's a pain but at least I can still access the blog.

VF: Sorry for scaring you...do you think I've blown our cover?

Mustardseed: (11) I dunno about that...it could be that she has limited ability to control her visibility but it seems not at the moment so maybe that comes later...she was really upset Hugh couldn't see her but it has happened before, i think, unless she was referring to the time when no-one could see her...she hated it because she was so lonely..

  • Comment number 17.

Synchronicity OK...as long as Vampfan and Anglo aren't both currently making plasticine models of Tessa Sanderson and Fatima Whitbread...or of any other particular character in BH.

  • Comment number 18.

VF, I'm okay thanks. And yeah they are liking to leave us with a lot of questions at the moment!! Still it gives us something to discuss so we can't really complain xD

Anglo, Really. *nods* so CenSSA are okay with you telling us all this are they? Or is that part of the cunning plan as well?

  • Comment number 19.

anglo (16).... be careful...we don't want to end up in the decompression chamber.....I've just had my hair done.

Anyway that's me for now....will try to come out to play later.

    TEAM...thanks for having me.

  • Comment number 20.

Mustardseed: (17) Oh, how did you know that's what we've been doing?

Cieria (18) Like VF said, we have to be careful...covert ops and all that stuff....and she has just had her hair done...

Gotta go now...must return to the lab...

  • Comment number 21.

Sorry not read comments my computer well and truly deaded can't stay turned on long enough for me to catch up!

But seriously - if anyone doubted the success of this show the fact that SIR Terry Wogan said yes to being in it?! Get in lol

  • Comment number 22.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can we have a playlist for all the tracks used so far like we did last series. Some of the music you use is fab and at the moment I have no way of discovering what it is. Thank you lots!

  • Comment number 23.

drivingsuzanne if you look on the last page he posted a playlist in a comment :-)

  • Comment number 24.

Ok it was 2 back here you go:

    :-)

  • Comment number 25.

Hello everyone! Will have to get the songs from those playlists.

Vampfan & Anglo- that was scary, verrryy scary. Almost supernatural :P

    I feel sorry for Lucy's goldfish :(

  • Comment number 26.

hey every1 sorry haven't been on my child was ill with this stupid sickness virus that's going round its not nice!

but any way to recap all Ive missed episode 2 was great thanks team
Saul wasn't very nice be at lease he stopped trying to drag Annie though the door so he kinda redeemed himself in my books but not by much

Hugh is such a sweetie i really like him aww but now Annie cant be seen again its all sad!

to Nina nooo don't go any where with that dude please let her be OK i really hope they don't put her in that decompression chamber!!!

and terry wogan did a really good job as an agent of death i think it really suits him

  • Comment number 27.

Kate: VF and I go back several weeks of synching and posting at exactly the same time...it's almost second nature now...but this same-word usage is new development...must keep an eye out and observe at all times... :0

Feel very, very sorry for Trevor...

  • Comment number 28.

Welcome back Katy :-) hows little un doing is she all better now?

  • Comment number 29.

can't believe sir terry wogan turned up as death - very cool idea, as for the red door i think vampfan is right in that the corridor must be different for different peeps.

i wouldnt want to go through that red door either lol. thanks for the track list eagle_eye as i love the music from this series and no one ever knows what it is usually :)

  • Comment number 30.

Saul wasn't bad, just used by whoever wants Annie.

Saul tells Annie that, following a car crash, he died for 6 minutes. He then has another car crash and, when dead, the radio voice tells him that if he drags Annie through the door, he will return to life. He chooses not to and is redeemed. So, the door is meant for Annie but ends up being for Saul.

But were there two car crashes or is time being played with here?

  • Comment number 31.

    Hello all!
Terry Wogan was a great addition to the show -loved it!
Erm, I havent really got much productive stuff to say, so I'd better go and watch ep2 again though?
Although, I think my iPlayer might be broken, it keeps mysteriously pausing and going back to the beginning of the topless AT bit and plays again and again and again. Mysterious huh? Clearly nothing to do with me ;)

  • Comment number 32.

Evening all. I think Terry Wogan did a grand job....Perfect Recall was still on telly when I got home from work tonight...I was a bit scared! lol

  • Comment number 33.

    Hi Guys and Gals
Terry Wogan what legend!! The man can do anything!

  • Comment number 34.

trying to do quick catch up here...evening all.

Loved the TW moment..freaked me out ( and Saul as well!) ..but angel of death or ...maybe...just angel..saying..it's time to go Saul..or something like that.

Think vampfan and mustardseed right about different corridors for different people...depending on their manner of death or whether they've redeemed themselves/...all getting a wee bit religious isn't it!

Don't think Lucy is the prof...think he/she not revealed themselves yet. don't know about her...something tells me she will...albeit inadvertendly, lead Mitchell into situation which will lead to death of someone...maybe her?

Saw trailer last night for eps 3...another Desperate romantics meets being Human monent going on with new guy entering the action...don't know his name ( anglo will...she knows names of all actors..) but he played father of Lizzie Siddell...talking about Daisy.. waiting for more action with her...think it will show backscene with her baby before ivan the terrible did the deed which separated mum and babe...and babies were on the menu ( sorry...filming schedule) weren't they?

And Lloyd wants to help Nina...yeh...we saw how that worked so well Lloyd in eps 1 with the other werewolf..!

Not happy that annie has become invisible again..just when the girl was beginning to start a new life....hope that changes durng the series and she becomessolid to all..although Lenora did say in an interview recently that the last episode in this series shows something unexpected happening to annie....don't know what thet could be but don't think it will be her going through door ending.

  • Comment number 35.

Beinghumanfan (31) I am having the same problem with my Sky + - keeps just going back and back to the opening scence........do you think Aidan is aware of what this does to us? He seemed quite shy at the Being Human event - maybe it was because there were soooo many people.

    Terry Wogan - genius!

  • Comment number 36.

No worries angela although it was BHP who posted it on a different page I just cut and pasted :-) dont wanna steal Mr P's thunder...

VF - didnt see your post earlier - I think that maybe its scary when its not "meant to be" - when you're not meant to go - like that corridor sort of didnt want annie to go? as soon as saul was inside the door shut and it kinda had what it wanted if that makes sense? And when Gilbert was going through his door it was meant to be - he was happy and thats why it was nice? maybe? thats what ive always thought but im in no doubt that toby will suprise us all and we'll all be wrong lol

right and after that rambling trip to nowhere im going back to watch the good doctor lol

  • Comment number 37.

I do hope she doesn't go through the/a door, shes such a fabulous character!
Hopefully the relationship with Hugh will present itself with an oppertunity for her to become visible - maybe his dad dies and Annie meets the dad?

And these people are damn good at networking aren't they! First DesRom & now this for 3 of them.....lol I can't say I'd protest, but y'know :P

  • Comment number 38.

Ah Dorina thats an awesome idea about one of the flashbacks being Daisy and the baby - I've been wondering how these babies are gonna creep in lol

  • Comment number 39.

I think he knows what he does and that is why he's shy lol!
Gonna try and watch all of ep2 last night, saw up to the bit when Saul came into the hospital after the crash last night...

  • Comment number 40.

London Time Out gives a very enthusiastic review to BH this week - and says ep 3 is a corker - with a momentous twist at end - which Colin T hinted at too ("best last ten minutes ever"?). I was wondering - as you do - Mitchell saves George (or Nina) from the chamber by making him (or her) a vampire - ie immortal? Can you be a vampire and a werewolf at the same time? Im quite taken by thought of Sinead as super-super natural - all powerful immortal vampire-werewolf-woman - not that she'd like it.

  • Comment number 41.

I'm fairly sure Aidan is aware of his impact on all hetro women and it's quite endearing that he is abashed by it ( i hope that's what it is )..although confess to being taken aback by comment on the SFX interview that he said 'oh ******* hell' when he saw all the fans outside the Curzon...naughty boy!!!

  • Comment number 42.

What can I say Sir Tezza. AM-AZ-ING and quite frankly chuffing hilarious.

Not sure why there are a few bods on here attacking the dialogue and new characters....it's a whole new series, it would be boring if there weren't new people and the tone wasn't different.

I'm loving it. Although shouting at the TV is not becoming of a lady....

  • Comment number 43.

Lol Dorina yep very naughty boy - wasn't half bloody funny though! Lol

  • Comment number 44.

just seen vid! Everyone loves sir terrance of wake up to wogan lol! it was freaky wen i wos visiting my grandad in hospital and someone changed the tv channel and wogans perfect recall came on!! i hid behind my mum =S

  • Comment number 45.

I didn't know it was a real show until I read people saying they had seen it on here. Imagine how spooked ouu I would have been if I caught some of it one day and thought he was Death talking to me. I suppose viewing figures might have gone up fractionally due to intrigued BH fans.

  • Comment number 46.

At least Annie's invisibility solves the problem of her wearing the same clothes to work every day! Feel sorry for her though - she's back to square one. As is Mitchell - at the end of ep 1 he says 'finally' cos he thinks he's integrated with the rest of the street/human society but 5 mins into ep 2 he realises that he can never escape the fact that he's a vampire. If Carl can succumb and kill someone he loves then so could Mitchell. I predict that Mitchell is the king - he seems to have sway over the other vamps (will we see more back story? I hope so) and feels like he has to do damage control before it all comes crashing down around their ears. But if he's the king surely he'll have to go back to killing humans again? it's all v confusing!
I think there'll be a power struggle between Kemp and Lloyd about Nina. Kemp will want to put her in the compression chamber but Lloyd's really intrigued about 2 types 3s having a relationship.
Still unsure about Lucy. Surely she should be a bit more freaked out by an exsanguinated body with bite marks coming into the hospital. It can't happen that often!
sorry this is a long post - can you tell I've been thinking about this a lot!

  • Comment number 47.

#42 I agree....I adored Series 1, but Series 2 has just taken it to a whole new level; I was totally blown away by Episode 2 this week. And I disagree that the humour's gone, I just think it's a bit more 'grown up' (if that makes sense) as are the characters that have more facets to them now, like George's new agression, Mitchell's shyness, Annie's straight forwardness (kissing Hugh like that, cheeky!!)

  • Comment number 48.

my sister said tezza was talking to her throgh the telly, lol
uh oh, she dosent watch being human.....

    =P

  • Comment number 49.

ianthe:....maybe that's why Toby did it..I mean, at what point was someone going to say 'heh girl...what's with the grey sweater thing?' !!

  • Comment number 50.

comment no. 1. is v. funny.

what is this sfx that everyone refers to?

  • Comment number 51.

    SFX magazine

  • Comment number 52.

hi everyone :) i was jus researching and realised tht russell tovey and sinead keenan starred in dr who end of time lol. didnt notice sinead at the time!! HOW DID I MISS THIS?? lol

  • Comment number 53.

Groovygirl, she was green and spikey through quite a bit of it. That might explain it? She was looking more like herself for a bit but she was mostly green,

  • Comment number 54.

actually i think ivan is the professor...

come on bh prod.... tell me, tell me, tell me, tell me. i can keep this up! lol

  • Comment number 55.

just having a thought - keep reading they're rare!!!

Toby said someone DIES right well two things

1 - Annie and all the vamps are already dead aren't they so they can't DIE can they!!!

2 - Just because they die dosen't mean they are leaving the show coz they could come back as a ghost!!!!

  • Comment number 56.

well I suppose there's nothing else on TV at the moment

  • Comment number 57.

Eagle you're an absolute angel thank you so much. I loved Lullaby by The Cure and Farewell My Friend. They were the 2 I just couldn't seem to find anywhere!

  • Comment number 58.

    Evenin' all.

Nice wee article in The Big Issue http://www.bigissuescotland.com/features/view/205

  • Comment number 59.

Hi, just reading the review of the launch on SFX online - thanks for that.

For those that haven't seen it, there's one bit that stood out for me: "But what about everyone who wants Mitchell and Annie to get together after their moment in series one? The signs aren't good for now. Lenora explains: “It's not really explored this series but you never know. At the moment Mitchell is too busy drinking blood...” So does that mean Mitchell our "King" after all?.......

  • Comment number 60.

To be honest, I wouldn't really mind seeing a darker side to Mitchell (not a really evil side and only for a while). I think it would be interesting to see how it impacted on the others.

Thanks for that Shell, something to ponder...

  • Comment number 61.

    Dramalovely: (55) Hey there...how're doing?

Just looked through briefly...Lauren died and she was a vampire so I'm wondering if a vamp gets staked or whether it's a human killed/turned into a vampire....

Toby also said a main character dies...could be Lucy as Lynsey Marshal must have loads of work coming up...or Kemp...or Lloydy-boy...but not necessarily George, Mitchell or Nina...think Annie might still be around...but I think they've all changed by the end of the series so much because of their experiences....can't see Mitchell ending up happy...think something bad happens that maybe he has a choice to make and finds it heartbreaking...perhaps something to do with Lucy or the housemates...

  • Comment number 62.

Here's the link to the full article for anyone interested (and for those who couldn't get there - I was on holiday when they ran the competition for the tickets *sniffs*)

  • Comment number 63.

Thanks for the Big Issue one Nimue...wow, Series 3 for November eh? Fingers crossed it all goes to plan :D

  • Comment number 64.

They hurt my Mitchell, there WILL be trouble...
I'm thinking main character = Lucy,Hugh etc etc.
Surely series 3 wouldn't work if one of the trio (ok the 4 cos of Nina too) died - would alter the shows dynamic too much no?
And /if/ it were then my guess would be Nina or George because a) I will cry if Mitchell goes and Annie is already dead, b) Sinead & Russell have lots of work, whereas I've not heard of anything that Aidan is doing (and Annie cant die), and c) They are most likely - cos CENssa wants to put werewolves in that decompression chamber whereas we don't know if they kill or just experiment on the vamps.
    I'm probably rambling but yeah.....

Oh and stuff I noticed from re-watching:
Shadow hitting somebody appears to be Mitchell and voice sounds like a woman.
The "king" is probably Mitchell - is getting a dirty look from Daisy and also he takes charge and says "If anybody feds, I'll kill you myself" (or words to that effect)
And funnily enough, all the other stuff I noticed was about Mitchell too, but I'll be quiet now.
    Night all xx

  • Comment number 65.

well just under 5 days to go till the players take there places and the new king ascends to the throne. this and the promised roller coaster of the last ten minutes has me getting very excited watching eps 1 + 2 on iplayer for hints unless the computer goes down

  • Comment number 66.

A main character dies? It had better not be Trevor! There will be uproar and online petitions.

  • Comment number 67.

This may be really contraversial, but if one of the 4 (mitchell, annie, george, nina) had to die then i would rather it was Nina. I reallly don't want it to be any of them but the origional three were george, annie and mitchell and i think if any of them left it would't be like the ame show any more.

but please dont kill off any of them. pleeeassee

    thoughts anyone?

    :) xxx

  • Comment number 68.

Kate (#67) for the record I think/hope if it's a MAIN main character that it's Nina...it would make sense, what with the previews of George sobbing, and that fact that technically Mitchell and Annie can't 'die' just cease to exist. Plus with Series 3 in the pipeline they'll need our original gang surely (please?). I don't think anyone else can be classed as a main character really...in my opinion a main character is someone we can get inside the mind of, and we haven't seen anyone else to that extent (well excluding Saul and his episode with Sir Terry) :)

  • Comment number 69.

I think it could be Nina if a main character is going to die, that line about shortening her life expectancy could just come true :'(

It was planned to have her leave George after finding out he was a werewolf in episode 6 last year but Toby decided, partly due to Sinead being so great to have her become a werewolf and be back for series 2. But I suppose if he was planning to lose her once, it could happen again. :(

On a less unhappy note, the Guardian's review of ep2 is up, they are doing ablog for the whole series which means a review every week. They seem to be big fans, and who can blame 'em ;)

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/tv-and-radio/tvandradioblog/2010/jan/17/being-human-episode-two

Also contains interesting news about the US remake:

"Back in the real world, the writers for the SyFy Channel's US remake were announced as being husband-and-wife team Jeremy Carver and Anna Fricke. Word is also that Mitchell may be a girl and Annie a boy. "

I know that isn't confirmed but can you imagine it working with, say Michelle and Danny. :D I'm not sure how the whole Owen storyline would work with a woman killing her husband but it would be interesting to see none-the-less.

  • Comment number 70.

oh i like that theory that Annie turned invisible because she got so close to the door!!!

  • Comment number 71.

One reason that Nina can't die yet has to be that she hasn't met Daisy and smelt her perfume if they denied us that confrontation what would we do?

  • Comment number 72.

Morning everyone! One day closer to a new episode of Being Human! :)

  • Comment number 73.

.....and another thing.....how can a goldfish just disappear....?
Is it very sad that this was the first thought in my head when I woke up this morn?

    Morning all.

  • Comment number 74.

    Morning bloggers! Morning Kate...

DeadlyF: About someone dying....all I knew was that it was a main character...this could mean anyone from Kemp, Lloyd, Lucy, Ivan, Daisy or Hugh... don't forget that we've already had one death (Dan) so although he wasn't a main character, Toby said "someone kills" so perhaps that's who Toby meant when he said that...the 'main' character therefore has still to 'die'.... what was said was "someone kills, someone dies" and "a main character dies"...we could have three separate events here or two, if the "someone dies" happens to be a main character.

I have my own feelings about who is probably going to kick the bucket but they can all die in their own particular way....Mitchell and any of the other vampires can be staked and die that way, Annie can 'die' by disappearing down some corridor or other or being exorcised (wonder if Mark the vicar will make his return here?), and George and Nina can die in human ways as they are essentially human but not for a few hours every 28 days...

I've heard that the last episode is going to be filmed on a full moon...so this may have relevance as to who dies in the last episode...are we to have another werewolf killing again?...if so, who kills whom/what?..

  • Comment number 75.

anglo....morning..I can only assume...as you did not say morning to me that we were posting at the same timeish......again. I've always wanted a stalker...please tell me you are really a man who looks just like AT. Hehe

  • Comment number 76.

VF: Morning sweetie...no synching of posts this time....

Unfortunately I am not a man, nor would I look like AT if I were, although perhaps knowing what some members of my family (male) look like, AT's dark looks wouldn't be too far off the mark (remember what I said about my grandfather?...don't know if that was you I mentioned it to come to think about it...)...so, sorry to let you down but I am 100% female with the hots for a certain vampire...hehe

Your post (73) wasn't up because I forgot to refresh though sometimes even when I refresh, then write one of my tomes, it takes me so long to finish that a dozen or so others have posted in the meantime...I must try and be more restrained...this is difficult when discussing one of the sexiest, loveliest vampires on the planet.

    And...it's not Sunday yet.

  • Comment number 77.

So not only are my supernatural synching powers not happening....now you are telling me it's not Sunday either.

There are some really interesting theories above ...I bet we all turn out to be wrong...but makes good reading.

  • Comment number 78.

VF: We're probably way off the mark but it's all good fun and passes the time of day...it would be a hoot if some of us were spot on, though...there were some interesting theories or six on Twitter but the problem with that is it's so fast and furious sometimes you can't keep up or have a proper 'conversation' on it...as far as I can see, all that seems to be happening is that we are all watching Being Human every night....not that I'm averse to that....doing it myself... noticing the odd two or three things here and there..

What did you make of the meeting Ivan and George had in the isolation room? For someone who doesn't like werewolves or George (probably because George was definitely doin' the do with Ivan's wife), he seemed interested in whether George was in a relationship...Ivan is not the type to make polite small talk so that bit was quite interesting...in a way Ivan is more of a realist than Mitchell who seems to be grasping at straws...you can almost sense his desperation to keep vampires and humans happy, whereas Ivan sensibly points out that saving Carl isn't the only one they're going to have to arrange Brazil for, and that vampires and humans cannot live happily side by side, at least the way things are at the moment (unlike in True Blood, which I have to say I did find a bit weird from that point of view)...Mitchell is struggling on so many levels you can really sympathise with his character...makes you wonder how it's all going to end but I can see he's going to have to make a major decision by the end of S2....perhaps he has to make Lucy into a vampire to 'save' her or allow her to die a normal death...

Well I couldn't see what Ivan was up to when he met with George but he was up to something....Daisy has called George 'the killer of kings' so maybe Ivan was assessing if/when George needs getting rid of....Ivan does seem to be more of a realist....with thoughts a bit like Herrick's.

As far as the vampire goes, well I just think he has the worries of the whole world on his (rather lovely) shoulders at the moment....he knows stuff and has no-one to share the burden with...even he and George are a bit distant .....but never worry, it will all come good.

anglo....you have just called an evil, murderous vampire a 'realist' and I have just agreed with you......don't know about you but I'm not brainwashed in any way.

  • Comment number 81.

little fact if you check i player for the next episode despite the fact theres no clip yet there is a screen shot of Mitchell at the I think docks could that be where the other vamps are hiding?

  • Comment number 82.

VF: (80) So I have...hehe...in his mad, vampiric way Ivan's kind of more in tune with the reality of how vampires and humans react and that it would be extraordinarily difficult, if not impossible (at least at present) for both to co-habit easily and openly. Mitchell was implying to Ivan that perhaps if they were more open about themselves it might be easier but this wouldn't be possible right now...it would take something monumental, like all vampires giving up their addiction, and for all humans to be tolerant of vampires, for that to happen....as Mitchell now knows, even if you're on the wagon for 20years there's no guarantee you're going to stay there...even Nina said he and the others were "turning native"...I guess he's looking at Carl and Dan and wondering if he's ever going to have a normal-type relationship...brings us back to Lucy...there is something with that girl can't quite put my finger on....

    Brainwashed?....whatever gave you that idea?

    Nope...still not Sunday...

  • Comment number 83.

Yeah...to fall off the wagon after 20 years....not good....doesn't give our lad much hope does it?....Lucy just seems wrong but don't know why....yet.

Hi ewan...nice picci...are they not still in the funeral parlour?...is this something else I have missed?

  • Comment number 84.

ewan is right - theyve changed the ep3 photo - it's a nice one of the vampire - and looks like the docks.
See the credits include a Catholic priest - wonder who seeks him out?
Also says George helps Annie as she matchmakes? cant see how she can do that being invisible? Lots to look forward to!

  • Comment number 85.

Ewan: Thanks for your post (81)....can't get iplayer here so will have to wait til I get home but thanks for the info..:D

VF: It seems they're no longer in the funeral parlour, all that came to an end with Herrick's death though I'm unsure why...perhaps they forgot to pay the rent...hehe....vamps seen in Ep3 apparently shacked up in a derelict church...now there's irony for you!

  • Comment number 86.

    Celticgrace: (84) Hello!

Annie matchmaking? For/with whom I wonder... Mitchell? George? That must make her visible again hopefully....was hoping Mark the sarky curate/vicar would make a come-back here...at least he was sympathetic to George's predicament in S1 though wondered what the hell he was getting himself into poor man... I was hoping Mark would come back and be asked to exorcise Annie, pretend to do it and actually not do it, leaving her around to possibly assist the others in any issues they're going to have...

  • Comment number 87.

Annie tries to matchmake for Hugh because she feels guilty but it doesnt quite go right lol

Twitter wont work - is it just me??

  • Comment number 88.

Ahh am I the only one who quite likes Ivan? Well apart from the kate bush thing...

  • Comment number 89.

Hi anglo and eagle - I was wondering at first if Annie was trying to get George and Nina back together - but George wouldnt "help" her do that?? I dont think Mark the vicar was Catholic? so someone new? - maybe the church the vampires are sheltering in is Catholic - but it looks derelict in clips?
Also someone new called Kirsty - dont recognise the actor's name - maybe it is Hugh's lovelife Annie is getting into - he said he'd wait but maybe now she's invisible she'll give up on that?

The George/Ivan talk was interesting - Ivan seemed to be worried about his own inability to feel and Daisy maybe rediscovering that - maybe he's more attached to her than he thinks? - and feels more than he thinks - which might make him step up to "king" just to impress her? Still wonder if it's Mitchell though.
Too much speculation - back to work! probably ..

  • Comment number 90.

eagle (88) - I hate to say it after that awful TV critic interview - but I cant help feeling PR is over-acting a bit?? though his script is pretty rich so maybe he hasnt much choice. He's a great character!

  • Comment number 91.

Hi eagle...no, can't say that I like him but did feel a bit sorry for him when he was watching George and Daisy....unless it was a set-up...then I don't know what I think...but he did actually look sad.

  • Comment number 92.

just double checking Paul Rhys' name - and he isnt credited in Ep3???

  • Comment number 93.

Eagle: Hi there...Twitter now working I think!

Celticgrace: Annie might try to help Nina and George...George knows that they were pals and Nina trusted Annie enough to ask her to go with her during her first transformation...I think he's so desperate to get Nina back he'd do pretty much anything..

Do you know the name of the actor playing Kirsty? I might recognise her...I wonder who she is, then...new vampire, perhaps an old flame (another one!) of Mitchell's, or Hugh's...or another member of the CenSSA team perhaps?

Can't work out who's King...judging by the bemused look on Daisy's face it could be Mitchell....there's been no major scene with them at all so it could be that there's a history there or she's scared of him for some reason...they don't seem very close, considering they're vampires...

VF: Felt a bit sorry for Ivan when he was being voyeuristic! Looked either jealous, angry or sad...difficult to say, I've checked out that scene and still can't make up my mind!

He seems quite bad but I'm wondering if he's puzzled by Daisy's new-found feelings and is trying to regain some of his own...like he wants to know what it was like to 'feel' things again because by his own admission he feels nothing now.

  • Comment number 94.

If anyone is wanting to use Twitter, there's a fault on it and it's not working.

  • Comment number 95.

    Hi everyone,

For the record I really like Ivan, there's just something about him I identify with and he's had some good lines too :)

BH is still on the brain...I have a hosputal appt soon, and I dreamt that the doc booked me into a decompression chamber for treatment last night :/

  • Comment number 96.

anglo - Kirsty is Lauren O'Neill? cant find her on Googe/imdb?

  • Comment number 97.

George is annoying me. He's so hypocritical. Last series it was Mitch saying one thing and doing another and now it's George. He was so judgemental towards Carl (who I absolutely love btw, cute!) and yet he just accepts what Mitch has done in the past. I'd love to know what he'd say if he knew Mitch had turned Bernie. Actually, save that for series 3. I'm glad he got a 'Dear George' letter. I wish he'd just take his moody self on holiday for a bit and give us a break from his moaning. That goes for Nina as well although it looks like she's going to be stuck in a white tube for a while anyway. It's all so dark and self pitying atm.
Ivan, Daisy, Carl and Lucy are great characters, they can stay. :p
Didn't much take to the Saul thing or Wogan but I think these first two eps had to work as the set up for the rest of the series so I'm really hopeful for Sunday.
Little things I did like included the silly Mitch/George interaction about Mitch having lived with other people before, the flashback was interesting too and Annie being scared to turn the radio off. It was just the small things I liked in this episode.

    *jumps off soapbox*

  • Comment number 98.

sorry - wrong - she is on imdb - has only done one part?? no pic

  • Comment number 99.

yeah i got on twitter briefly and now its not working ok

    ***spoilers***

Kirsty is hughs ex girlfriend Annie feels guilty so she tries to get them back together by (lol!) sending her out on 'the worlds worst date' with George but obviously Ninas just left him and hes feeling a bit...you know...and it goes a bit *ahem* wrong.

    ***end of spoilers***

Sorry but I was about to burst lol

Shell yeah I agree I dont know what it is about Ivan he just sort of makes sense lol

Celticgrace: (96) There is a Lauren O'Neill I'm getting but the info doesn't make any sense...will continue to check her out...I may be some time...
