Dragons’ Den

It’s a new series and there’s a new Dragon in the Den – logistics tycoon Hilary Devey.  A new raft of keen entrepreneurs are about to enter the Den and make a pitch for an investment that could make their business – and change their lives.

Here on the Red Button we get to peek behind the scenes and get the inside story on the investments made in the Den each week.  What attracted the Dragons to the business?  What did the other Dragons make of the deals? And why did the entrepreneurs take the deal they did in the Den?

By pressing red, viewers can also listen to live commentary from an expert conductor and hear their unique insights into the music as the work is played.

The service will be available for six Proms, continuing on Thursday 4th August from 7:30pm with Prom 24 and Saturday 6th August from 9:00pm with Prom 29.

Prom 24

Maestro Cam will feature Sir Andrew Davies conducting the BBC Symphony Orchestra and BBC Singers performing music by Elgar, Grainger and Richard Strauss. Elgar's Violin Concerto will be performed by violinist Tasmin Little and feature on the evening's Solo Cam.
In addition, optional expert commentary will be supplied by conductor Peter Stark.

please can you made red button content available via iplayer - especially for dragons den!

  • Comment number 4.

Could I ask please that you either qualify or refrain from using "all platforms" when referring to situations where red button coverage is not available on the internet. You make me buy a licence to watch BBC live on the internet - if that doesn't make it a "platform" I don't understand why not (I no longer have a TV).

I can live without the text content on the red-button - which I guess is aimed at those without access to bbc.co.uk.

However I would love to watch Dragons Den Red Button coverage and the F1 Forum (while it lasts) but I can't - despite part of the licence fee which I pay for access to my chosen digital "platform" going to fund them. This is all the more frustrating when the commentators AND the website keep going on about how wonderful the Red Button coverage is.

Alternatively could you bring red button video to this "platform" too?
