Gig Round-Up: Thin Lizzy, Cursive, The Staves

Thin Lizzy

 

Thin Lizzy and The Darkness have been added to this year's Belsonic with a gig at Custom House Square on Saturday the 18th of August. The gig is in addition to the line up that was announced yesterday evening which included Skrillex, Two Door Cinema Club, Tom Jones, Madness and many more.

Cursive will play the Limelight, Belfast on the 6th of June. Tim Kasher from the band supported Mariachi El Bronx when they played the venue last November.

Mick Jones (The Clash) will play the Spring & Airbrake, Belfast on Saturday the 31st of March and the Academy in Dublin on Friday the 30th of March as part as part of the 'Hillsborough Justice Campaign' tour. Jones will perform with The Farm and Pete Wylie of The Mighty Wah on the night. 

English folk sibling three piece The Staves will play McHughes Basement, Belfast on Monday the 23rd of April.

Christie Moore and Declan Sinnott will play  the Millennium Forum, Derry on Friday the 1st of June. The date is in addition to previously announced dates on the Friday the 4th and Saturday the 5th of May.

Sandinos in Derry will host Swanee River, Balkan Alien Sound, Our Krypton Son, The Lost and Little Bear on the 1st of March.

Punk legends The Buzzcocks will also play the Academy in Dublin on the 11th of May. 

After a sold out show in the Button Factory the other week, tUnE-YaRdS return to the city on July 15th at Vicar Street. Tickets on sale now.

Rainy Boy Sleep will support Benjamin Francis Leftwich this Sunday at the Limelight, Belfast.
