GOTW - Kasper Rosa Single Launch!

Kasper Rosa Poster

This week's GOTW is another belter at the increasingly reliable Animal Disco in Auntie Annies, with Kasper Rosa taking to the stage at midnight.

When the lads waltzed into studio 8B a couple of Monday's ago to play their new single, we thought we knew what to expect. We didn't.

J Ryan. Mc Cormick explains:

"I think this particular track is, for us anyway, a step in a different direction from our last release. Its loud, its groovy, and its lush... we hope. More than anything though, its a rock song.. more so than any other Kasper Rosa song before it. Accessible... while maintaining its progressive complexity and loveliness."

WAY better than our clumsy description! The track in question, 'First Breath, First Blood' will be officially launched on Friday night.

'It's been exactly one year since Kasper Rosa performed at Animal Disco... and we've missed few since then. It's a fantastic club night with a great vibe, and a friendly cliental. We're really happy to be offered the slot for this release and we'd be fools to say no! September 16th also marks 2 years since our first EP was released at the Spring & Airbrake. So this is as much of a celebration for us as it is a launch show.'

He gives good quote, doesn't he?

Kasper Rosa play Auntie Annies tomorrow night.

If you were mad enough to miss the exclusive play of the studio version of 'First Breath, First Blood' on ATL a few week's back, you can listen on kasperrosa.bandcamp.com now!
