And again...That question!
Yes there is the question which drives me on the wall. You know what it is?
Why do you feel freezing? You are from Russia, moreover...from Siberia. You are used to feel cold, so you shouldn't mind! Do Russian people have a different temperature body? Of course, not. People can't be used to a cold...So do you want to know how do we live in a winter time? The answer is very easy... dress up yourself warm!! That's it! So be like a cabbage:)Proper coat and a few layers underneath are enough to feel warm and be enjoying winter. I can honestly say that here in London in winter time I am wearing the same jacket as in Russia and when temperature is going down to 0 and it is a windy day I feel more freezing rather than at -25...I know it is hard to believe, but it is true, clear true. All that is just because of the humidity, in Novosibirsk we have dry air.
My home town is very sunny. Annual amount of sunny days are 2880. Russia has 4 seasons. I am so pleased about that because you can see all the beauty of every one in all its glory. Every season is special, so I don't have my favourite one. I will try to find some nice photos to show what I mean. Have patience:)
Winter is a cold season, it starts in November and lasts approximately until March with average temperature at -15/-20. Of course there are some days with -30, sometimes -35. The latter I have to say is not a normal degrees it is quite extreme , people will walk fast along the streets, and no one will show his nose without good reason for that:) The current month is not chilly at all, temperature is not going down below -10...
One of my readers asked me about the length of days in winter time. I can say it is the same as in Europe. It is not a Pole don't be confused:)
Summer lasts just 3 months, from June through August. And it is a very hot time, around +30 degrees and I like that! Some days can gladden us by +35.
7 Jule 2005 we hit the highest temperature which stood at +40. Can you imagine that in Siberia?! But September can be easily warm as well, around +20-25.
As you can see there is a huge variation between temperatures. Moreover we can have for example -1 in one day then -17 in the next one. Very big gap... I can assume it is not good for one's health. I had never been suffered from that but for old people I guess it is hard to endure.
