When music reminds you of somebody, it's a wonderful thing. That's what this week's Memory Tape is all about: people, friends and good times. Here Emily O’Callaghan shares her story about best friend Tash...how lovely:

“I've been best friends with my mate Tash since senior school in Bristol. We lost touch briefly during our 20s when I went to university but were reunited by wonderful social media and have been in contact daily since.

"Tash basically lives for her music. She loves her 60s soul, and even looks like a 60s child - resembling a little Claudia Winkleman! This June, she is to marry her partner Ga in South Wales and I am sooo excited! In the invites she's asked everyone to request a favourite track for when we hit the dance floor at the reception, so I thought it was only fitting to ask for her own top 10 favourites. She text back within a minute with this definitive list.

"As well as being a list of her all-time favourites, the songs on the tape really tell the story of Tash’s life. She loved seeing Stevie Wonder, her all-time favourite artist, at Glastonbury a few years back, and the tracks by Prince and The Smiths take both of us back to our schooldays in the 80s. Her dancing to This Charming Man has to be seen to be believed! But Sally Cinnamon is the most special to her, as it was at a Stone Roses gig last year that Ga ‘popped the question’.”

Tash’s Top 10 Mixtape:

Stevie Wonder - If You Really Love Me

The Stone Roses - Sally Cinnamon

Prince - I Wanna Be Your Love

The Doobie Brothers - What A Fool Believes

Marvin Gaye & Tammy Terrell – Ain’t No Mountain High Enough

Marvin Gaye - Mercy Mercy Me

The Emotions - Best Of My Love

The Smiths - This Charming Man

Dusty Springfield - Son Of A Preacher Man

Moloko - Sing It Back
