The BBC Music Video Festival starts today and runs across Autumn. The idea of the festival is to showcase the best music videos of the year and to highlight some of the new music and filmmaking talent out there.

This year, videos have been submitted from around the world and special selections chosen by Drowned in Sound, The 405, BUG/Promo News and Radar Music Videos.

Featured videos come from Grimes, Jack White, Feist, First Aid Kit, Alt-J, Bloc Party, Bombay Bicycle Club, Bonobo, Fleet Foxes and The Shins.

If you want to get more hands on and you're in the east of the country, then there's a load of events happening in Norwich. You can find out more by visiting The Forum website.

Anyway, to get involved, Lauren has picked out just a few of her fave videos ever made since the beginning of time, and we've posted them all below for you to watch/enjoy.

Bob Dylan - Subterranean Homesick Blues

Beastie Boys - Sabotage

Fatboy Slim - Praise You

Pixies - Velouria

Daft Punk - Around the World

Lauren's other choices were ZZ Top - Legs and Aphex Twin - Window Licker.
