Loved the elephant footage, Mark's enthusiasm is so infectious! I was lucky enough to go on one of his Baja California whale-watching trips a few years ago, which he leads. An UNFORGETTABLE experience, the man's up there with David Attenborough in my books. I can't wait for Last Chance to See to begin.

i agree with you, seaplatypus. My wife and I have also been lucky enough to join Mark on some of his excursions and what he doesn't know about cetaceans isn't worth knowing.

it's about time Auntie Beeb gave Mark the chance to show what he can do in front of the camera. I too cannot wait for the series to kick off and also to see some future blogs on the kakapo. (an amazing story from the book)
