The Last Word On The End Of The World

Jeff Zycinski | 22:08 UK time, Thursday, 11 September 2008

We've been trading stories about how we didn't all fall into a black hole this week. The best has come from one of our music producers who told me that her eight year old son got up an hour earlier yesterday morning. When she asked him why he was out of bed he said that if the world was going to end later that day then he wanted an extra hour to play on his PS3 before he went to school.

Life's a game, after all.

Thank goodness the world did not come to an end because I would have missed the Glasgow Proms in the Park broadcast and that would have really made me mad.

Well done to all at BBC Radio Scotland for an outstanding afternoon of music (it was after lunch when it came on here in Arizona, USA).

Technology worked well today. The gods were smiling on all .

    Many, many, many thanks.

Thanks for your comment invinciblegrammie, this year's Proms in the Park attracted a lot of similar praise. I'll pass your on to the Music team.
