LEARNING POETRY WITH JARVIS - STEP 1

Jarvis Jarvis | 17:40 UK time, Thursday, 5 August 2010

Comments

As I mentioned in this weeks Sunday Service I've set you some homework over the next couple of weeks whilst I'm away and John Cooper-Clarke sits in.

Your task is to try and memorise a poem, and the one you are going to do this with is Gerard Manly Hopkins' Inversnaid. So when I return on August 22nd we will all be able to recite the poem together during the Sunday Service.

See you then.

Jarvis is away for the next couple of weeks and we have very special guest John Cooper-Clarke sitting in, but before he left Jarvis gave some poetry homework and recorded a little video to explain all. More on that over the next few days so keep checking this blog.

Remember to leave your questions for John Cooper-Clarke below and we'll pass them on for him to answer when we record the show on Thursday.
