Cappy

We should thank listener Michael Wood who sent us these old illustrations in response to our appeal for things to do indoors. He has sent us on a journey, rekindling an interest in toilet roll, paste, scissors and sellotape. We've enough to write a book, but am told Michael has plans to do one of his own.

Sorry, my mum would not like me to look at this in case I start trying to play with matches and sharp things. She says when she was a little girl all the boys used to go to Scouts and even school with sheath-knives on their snake-belts, usually made by Richards of Sheffield and costing two or three shillings, but that was before we realised we had to be scared of everyone because they are perves and terrorists and that, especially teenagers. So I have to cut up my dinner with a piece of wool. Honest I am so bored I could kill. But mum says when I am eighteen I will suddently get sensible and she will get me a machine-gun. You twits.
