Electric cars are the wave of the future - but they are so quiet they are potential hazards for other road users and pedestrians. Should they have sound added electronically? If so, what sounds? Will we be able to choose our car by the sound it makes? Or shall we be choosing the sounds as we do with mobile phones? Will our new cars sound like express trains, aircraft, barking dogs? Or am I just barking?

Could the PM programme consider the corrupt way in which banks are oppressing people experiencing financial difficulties.

I lost my job a while back in such a way as to make retraining at University for a career change absolutely essential...

Unfortunately, Natwest took umbridge...I wrote in December to offer affordable payments and have been corresponding regularly.

Most of my debt is unreasonable charges and as such, I have endeavoured to get Natwest to consider my claim, which is actually far greater than my outstanding debt, but they hide behind the FSAs ruling on delaying such claims. I have indicated financial hardship, but I have experienced six months of bullying, including extremely unpleasant threats of legal action.

In short, they are completely ignoring the complaints procedure. I have referred the matter to the ombudsman, but they have stated that they are inundated and unable to process the complaint for a considerable time.

I wonder if this is a common experience? Now that Natwest, who are part of the RBS group, are struggling financially, they are employing pathetic tactics including pretending they haven't received correspondence sent by first class post.

This is no way for the Banks to behave if they want to improve their public image.

There might not be a story here, but I suspect that the banks are actually attacking the vulnerable in a 'shark' like manner...

I suspect I am not an isolated case...

I would love to know how one can stand against the system which from my perspective, is bent as a nine bob note...?

What calmed the Iraqi insurgency down and will it last past the run-down in US forces ?

With the present large contingent of BBC reporters in Southern Iraq, maybe it is time to reassess what happened 12-18 months ago when the Iraqi insurgency ("local", al quida and "criminal") violence melted away. Whilst its occurence was reported the reasons weren't and there seems little, if any contemporary analysis of the political situation concerning the "missing" insurgents.

An example particularly relevent to Britain and the resence of BBC reporters where (as far as I remember it being reported) the original Iraqi Army assault was rebuffed, but suddenly the insurgents disappeared such that the second attack was almost a walk-over. At the same time the Basra Governor "dissappeared" and was reported as being held far out in a large house in the desert. Now is this an accurate memory of the occurences, or did other things happen ?

IF this did occur, then why and where did the insurgents go, and what will happen when the main US forces leave Iraq ?

Memorial Service for SOldiers killed in Iraq.

I was moved by the memorial service held in Basra to commerorate British soldiers killed in Iraq.

However, I was somewhat disturbed by the fact that commissioned officers were referred to by both their rank, initials and surname whilst other ranks were refeered to by rank and surname.

Why is this differentiation considered necessary by the military?

I am a puzzled woman! I recycle all I can - plastic, cans, bottles, paper, clothing and have a compost heap. I want to reduce landfill. So why do we hear we have mountains of all the things I recycle with local authoirties having to store it? Why dont people in this credit crunch age start new businesses to use the recyclable materials? Costs would be low for the materials surely and the set up fees for machines to make/change goods to allow them to be remade as something else within bank loan reach? I dont know the answer but would love someone to explain/investigate/report on the situation in the market now? any ideas?

In view of the UN report (that will go unread ) will the BBC release a list of BBC journalist's that have lost their lives by the Israeli IDF or other incidents that the IDF have been responsible for and blamed and been responsible for as opposed to so called Palestinian terrorist's .
As this will allow the public to have an overall opinion as to the accusations levelled at the Jewish State and help to inform the public as to what is really going on and on balance where the real blame lies, instead of bending over backward's to not blame the right people and regime.
Because it is the one real crime that we allow year after year and show's us up as being hypocrites in our demanding the moral high ground when pointing the finger.
The BBC play's a large part in not doing it's job in pointing out that HYPOCISY"
