Thanks for your suggested stories (below) keep them coming in. Anonymous1208 wrote a long comment about Culture Secretary Andy Burnham's thoughts on film style ratings for websites.

I see Cabinet Office minister Tom Watson MP is asking readers of his blog to share their views on the idea of ratings. Tom says:

I'll make sure that Andy sees all of the comments, other than the two I deleted for being rude. I'm writing to him at the end of the week (January 2nd) so any further ideas are welcome until then.

It will be quite a long and challenging letter judging by the 93 comments his post has attracted so far...

    I was an evacuee aged 4 from London.
    We had no fat kids in our school, we had rationing, we were fit, we still had sport at school, part of our education.
    we had discipline in school and on the street, a copper cuffed you with his rolled up cape. We had youth clubs, then we had National Service. Still discipline. Still had proper food, taught cleanliness. and how to keep smart and respect for Superiors. Bring back some form of National Service, even for one year for all men aged 18- 25. See how many Immigrants want to stay then. This would solve so many of our problems, employment to make the clothing, providing the food, respect for others and no obesity.
