A couple of days ago you were asking how the American Securities and Exchanges Commission could have been so ineffectual as to allow Bernard Madoff to wipe out 50 billion dollars and stating without question that the buck should stop with them and the American government.

However you have just allowed John Prescott an uninterrupted ten minute rant in which he pinned all blame for the banking crisis on the banks themselves.

At no point did you ask him what our own FSA was doing during this ten year period of fiscal irresponsibility.

That FSA which was set up personally by GORDON BROWN to replace the Securities and Investment Board and given its remit by GORDON BROWN.

To allow Prescott to come on and spout his incoherent Nulab propaganda is unforgiveable. No wonder they are calling you BBC Pravda.
