Hi, I'm probably posting this in the wrong place and if so, I'm very sorry but it's Christmas day and I'm more than a little drunk.

I just wanted to say, I've just finished watching the "Black Adder" tribute on BBC1 and during the show there was a question relating to where Black Adder would go next: I think it's obvious.

Surely the uncomprising and duplicitous talent of the main character could only possibly be adequately served in modern politics? Obviously there would be comparisons to Alan B'Stard but if Black Adder was ever to make another appearance on our screen, the world stage of politics is SURELY the most fitting place.

I sort of agree with Tim McInerney's statement that the viewers don't want to see the characters as they look now and to be honest, it would be difficult to top the final, poignant, episode but nonetheless I feel that it could be done and done well. In such circumstances the viewers would happily embrace the characters and would forgive the ravages of an aging cast.

    Warmest regards,
    Mike McGowan
