    Has anyone any ideas about recycling the millions of video cassettes in people's homes that have been used to record from TV but are now no longer needed because of DVDs?

    Can we have a slot on PM each Friday evening called 'Value from Parliament' where we can hear which of our Honourable Members of Parliament are giving their constituents & the tax payers real value and which of them are not?
    Simple measures could include:-
    (a) % attendance in the commons;
    (b) % voting in divisions;
    (c) how often they refer to their consituents & constituency in debates/speeches;
    (d) etc.
    Given the number of non-executive directorships my MP has I'd be very surprised if he were capable of finding his way to the commons without a sherpa to show him the way and carry his wallet!

    Mary - did you send an email about this today or is it a spooky coincidence?

    Sarah Fisher's (star of last Sat's 05:45 iPM) plug for iPM, broadcast at 21:00 this evening.

    You stole the script from Morecambe & Wise, when, for example Andrew Preview [Andre Previn] would say "I appeared on Morecambe & Wise, and look what happened to me".

    "I emailed iPM, and look what happened to my dining room!"

    Shame on you all ;-) Hilarious, even if the nth time around...

    Now now, Deepthought. "stole" is a strong word. Don't you know how hard it is to have a new idea these days? (Listen to iPM if not.) I'm sure they just thought of the same idea, some decades later. Could happen to anyone!
