At school one tries to get boys and girls to express themselves without swearing and to behave with courtesy, politeness and consideration to each other. Why does the government fund, on the one hand, teachers and, on the other, the BBC when their aims are so obviously opposed. Fire Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand.

I'm 51 ( seeing as how I'm meant to be old I thought I'd better mention that)and I think John Prescott got it right when he said ( the today programme) had lost its sense of humour.. There seems to be a mass loss of humour by R4 listeners. Its like a frenzy of the humourless.. I didnt like Russell at first but having heard a few shows am warming up to him... I'm 'getting' him.. I assume most people from R4 dont listen to his programme and to have these snippets out of context would be alarming..but surely context is everything. It'd be like saying Jonathan Ross had stolen Daniel Craigs watch...

I wonder if the general public realise how many families are devastated by the actions of the social services in the family courts. The ss work behind closed doors and the courts hand out prison sentences to any of the family who make individual cases public.I know this is designed to protect the children but in hundreds of cases the childeren lose there mothers through the heavy handed actions of the ss. Children are being in effect kidnaped and forced adoption results. The local councils get huge amounts of money from government. The more they kidnap the more money they get. On day this will all be published. The general public need to know.please visit forcedadoption . com.It will open your eyes to the injustices of the ss and also break your heart like mine
