New to the blog. Think it might be useful to stick with a credit crunch theme in the ipm now that there is some evidence that the hysteria is beginning (hopefully) to die down. We live in interesting times, for sure, but I sense that despite the hype needed to keep a story newsworthy (whose judgement?), circumstances will not turn out as cataclysmic as is being presented. What will be interesting to see is whether we can individually and collectively beat our addiction to credit and whether we use the economic downturn to help make a step-change towards lower carbon lifestyles and economies - ie can we make a virtue of necessity?

    Hello smilingwhitstabubble

Welcome to the iPM blog and thanks for your comment. We've received a real mix of feedback about the credit crunch.

Some people fed up hearing about it, and others, like yourself who'd like to hear more.

Is there someone in particular you'd like us to interview? Would you like to hear more about how it came about or people with ideas on how we move forward from here?

    All thoughts welcome.

Every newscaster is wearing a poppy. This charity is promoted by the military elite and glorifies those who choose to kill or maim millions of people every year. Their victims get nothing. Can you do something to redress the balance.
