Is the US an open society? Compared to China seems so I suppose.

At least the likes of Mr. David Griffin can meet and talk in public. I've watched the videos that proove it.

How reliable is the information available to us? Well, Columbus did discover America - didn't he?

Are the 9/11 Truthers generally deemed obsessive and nutty in the US? Bill Maher thinks so. When will iPM address this issue? The information I find is so over whelming it must at least be worth a question or two from any serious correspondent.

    Just one example...
    9/11 The Myth and the Reality: Dr. David Ray Griffin...Google it for yourself;

    =docidfeed&hl=en

Just one detail...How did a passport escape a burning plane, avoid the fire that destroyed steel construction and land undamaged upon the floor of ground zero?

Or should I just crawl back into my hole of blissful ignorance? What do you think Eddie?

You are the BBC and, therefore, fair and objective. Is the official 9/11 story fair and objective?

    Richard Branson..?

Great idea. Didn't he make a pledge a while back to donate Virgin's annual "profits" (define please) to fight world climate change...

So, apart from anything else, it'll be interesting to learn how much has been/will be given and when

    And, then there's Northern Rock

Of course Branson's bid isn't oportunistic! Everyone can surely see the synergies between the entities involved..?

Now Steve Fossett's gone, will Sir Richard pursue the land speed record in Fossett's stead etc..?

I reckon this coming iPM programme could run on Sir Richard alone, Rupert...

    Wait for it!

Click on the About Ithaca link there for the extraordinary and extraordinarily well presented poems of c. p, cafavy.

Try The City (menu in LHS column).

Its the poem most evocative of the effects of capitalism in our lives and everywhere.

Surely that site is doing what the web should do - simply presenting what it sees in life as most worthwhile and meaningful, as elegantly as possible. And for free.

Does anyone in the "Beeb" have thoughts on whether the Chinese might have something to do with the recent "Blog" problems..?

Also, who, or what, are "Hack" and "Branded" as shown in the latest running order?

I-P ( 4 ) Believe me, the thought has crossed my mind. That and some odd clicking noises on a number of our phone calls.

Hack - to be clear - looks at the warning from the head of MI5 that the UK is under cyber attack from China.

Branded - is all about how the Met is applying new technology to CCTV to catch criminals. Particularly, if a suspect is pictured wearing a hoodie then the police can now use clever software to isolate sporting logo's that - more often than not - appears somewhere on said hoodies clothes.

All will become clear at 5.30. I hope.
