Here's the first draft, we'll provide updates later in the week. As ever, your comments will determine what makes the final draft and what gets left out.
I'm a blogger, and fairly well-known in my own tiny niche.
Last weekend I arranged to meet another blogger in a sort of blind date. We'd been emailing and following each other for some months. We decided to met at a canalside pub in Marple, Cheshire.
I bought a drink and went out of the front door to meet her. Just at the moment she appeared, the landlord appeared alongside me and told me that drinking on the street was forbidden, and ushered me inside before I had a chance to greet my date.
What a way to start a blind date!
Apparently, most of Stockport Borough Council forbids drinking in the street (despite the fact that this pub borders the canal, and I live on a boat).
I'm about to blog about this - and my date might be doing so too.
