Essential: Hope Tala is a 20 year old singer-songwriter from West London who has been supported by her local Introducing in London show since July this year. Hope combines a love of music and literature, creating soft melodies laced with literary references - so the music is a unique blend of neo-soul, rap and lyric poetry. ‘Valentine’ is taken from her debut EP ‘Starry Ache’ which is influenced by Lauryn Hilll, D’Angelo and Shakespeare.
