On The Playlist: Tall Ships - Gallop

This week sees the highly acclaimed Tall Ships have their single Gallop added to the Radio 1 playlist. Listen out for it making an appearance across daytime shows including Greg James, Dev and Scott Mills. The single is below for you to discover as well as a few essential facts about the band.

Hometown: Originally from Falmouth but now live in Brighton
Style: Mutilayered guitar led soundscapes with pounding drums and Morrissey-esque vocals. They cite Sigur Rós and Biffy Clyro as influences but there are also hints of Battles and Bon Iver in the mix.
Did you know? Tall Ships have toured the UK and Europe in support of Los Campesinos! and Dry the River plus headlined the BBC Introducing stage at Reading and Leeds this year.
