Tip Of The Week: RAMS' Pocket Radio - Dieter Rams Has Got The Pocket Radio

Post categories:

RAMS' Pocket Radio is Peter McCauley, a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter from Lisburn in Northern Ireland. Perhaps the world's first musical project to be named after a German industrial designer (Dieter Rams, often considered the key inspiration behind the iPod), Pete and his mates are also old Introducing favourites, having played our stage at Glastonbury last year.

According to our very own Tom Robinson, RAMS are "about to scare the ******* out of every other piano based band on the planet". Tom's not normally one for the blue language so you can tell he's pretty impressed.

RAMS set off on an arena tour with Snow Patrol and Everything Everything this month, before heading off on a UK tour of their own. And their live set often culminates with this anthemic track. If you like it you can find some more downloadable tracks on their website. For free!
