Off to Bestival!

Huw Stephens Huw Stephens | 14:23 UK time, Friday, 7 September 2007

This weeks show features a session by Emmy the Great. With Lilly Allens and Kate Nash's, Bat For Lashes and Adele taking quality female singer songwriting to the masses all the time, there's always room for a little experimentalism and sometimes simplicity, as folks like George Pringle, Kate Goes and most definitely Emmy the Great proves. The session is wonderful and I urge you to listen!

There's a few tracks from it on the Introducing Podcast too this week, as wel as tracks by Model Horror, Larsen B and Hugo Frusslinky from the Isle of Wight.

That's where I'm of now for Bestival! The BBC Introducing stage is there all weekend and there's highlights recorded from there on Rob's show Sunday night and on my show next Wednesday.
Have a good weekend

Rob, I wanted to say thanks for another superb Bestival.
Best bits for me were lying on the grass listening to DJ Yoda on Sunday afternoon. Hot and sweaty in Bollywood on Saturday night and then the Chemical Brothers on Friday night -what an amazing sight as well as sound.

    Loved it, thanks.
