Bit gutted to be missing the Edinburgh festival this year - first time I've not been there in years!

The BBC Sport Webpage is advertising Midweek Final Score as being available on redbutton from 7:30 pm....but there is only a trailer for Red Button on HD showing or a re run of the Spa F1 Grand Prix on normal TV.

I am extremely disappointed with the BBC Red Button News and Sports News coverage received via Virgin TIVO. I believe it is called Connected Red Button .

Basically, most of the news segments are in video format. There is no Regional Sport news at all. The UK Sport is very patchy - fine if all you wanted to know about earlier this year was Wimbledon there were lots of it for weeks on end but little coverage of the start of the football Champions League or The Ashes Cricket. The current sports news section is still talking about Wimbledon and Glastonbury (why Glastonbury??).
I complained direct to the BBC and they say that this Red Button is provided by Broadband, The previous BBC news was much more comprehensive and we find oursleves having to go onto Freeview to get decent news coverage.

Question - will the BBC improve on the content for news and sports news in the foreseeable future?

Why are you providing this inferior BBC news service - this reflects badly on you.
