WARNING:  The following entry may not make any sense.

Hello there.  I have made it back to London in one piece after the mighty Summer Jobs Tour of the last fortnight.  I LOVED going up and down the UK and broadcasting from weird places but it's so nice to be home.

Feel on a bit of a low, a bit like you get the day after a great holiday.  I'm feeling particularly lost because I haven't had a chance to think about my Lanzarote holiday I came off a couple of weeks ago.  It was so goooood.  Pretty naff, but so fun.  Put the photos on my computer.  Most of them not broadcastable, but here's one:  This is where we stayed.

And here's my mate Jack's shoes under a UV light in a club.  Classy joint eh?

I'm feeling a little delirious also and although I celebrated massively about the news on my new show, it hasn't really sunk in because the news broke when I was out of the country.  Exciting times though and work has already begun in my head regarding new things.  Thank you if you emailed or messaged me when you found out by the way - am massively behind on emails and it's doing my head in a bit.  But I have read them all and appreciate it a lot.  My head is spinning to be honest.

Am sitting on my bed in my pants in a load of clutter.  Still haven't unpacked from my holiday or the tour and the bin is overflowing.  How much does a live in maid cost?  A hot one?

Just looked at my hi-fi and realised that my sunglasses case in between the speakers looks like a face:

Anyway - where was I?  So, managed to buy some basic supplies as the cupboards were bare when I got home (obviously).  Milk, butter, cereal, bananas and biscuits.  Tonight I was supposed to ring and text a few people (sorry if you're reading this and that's you - I'll do it tomorrow).  Instead, I have been eating cheese and watching the DVD extras of Series 2 of The Inbetweeners.  Great show - DVD extras not the best.  Brilliant news that they are making a 3rd series though.  I've just been playing the drums a bit too instead of putting a wash on and read a very good interview with Kasabian.  There's also been a fly in my flat since last night.  I tried squashing him with a full roll of toilet paper but it was too cushioned and he flew away.

I was also supposed to come up with the next batch of my alphabetical Wonder Years for Friday's show and haven't.  If you want to choose some, feel free below.  I'm doing M to Z this Friday.  Artists beginning with those letters.

I think that's all for now.  Bedtime.  See ya.

Here you go. A little alphabetical list.

Morcheeba/Moloko, Nirvana, Orbital/Oasis (please, no), Prince/Pixies/Primal Scream, Queen, Red Hot Chili Peppers/Run DMC, The Stranglers/The Smiths/Sigur Ros, Talking Heads/T Rex, U2, The Verve/The Velvet Underground, Amy Winehouse/Rufus Wainwright, XTC (dunno who they are), Yaz/Yes/Yello, Zoe/Zero 7.
Bit retro, I fear, for the youth of Radio 1.

    Nati x

Did you start celebrating alone last night then? That was a very tired and emotional blog there.

Again, congrats on moving up through the ranks, will you be taking Neil with you? It wouldn't be the same without him.

Was strange looking around Radio 1 yesterday, seeing the big show from the very beautiful studios.

Nice list Nati, I think Moloko has to be played!!

How bout Milli Vanilli 'Girl You Know It's Ture', just so i can do the chest bump they do in the video! Maybe even some Right Said Fred 'I'm Too Sexy' . . . everybody loves that song, no?

Dude, this blog just got progressively more 'tired' and slightly insane sounding as it went on. I've been their, thats how I feel towards the end of a 10 hour shift at work, like about now!

    Wonder Years suggestions:

M - Massive Attack - Unfinished Symphony or Teardrop
    N - Nelly - Country Grammar
O - Ocean Coulour Scene - Riverboat Song
    P - Prodigy - Voodoo People
    Q - Q-Tip - Breathe and Stop
    R - Ramones - Blitzkreig Bop
    S - Sigur Ros - Hoppipolla
T - Thin Lizzy - Boys Are Back In Town
U - Urban Cookie Collective - The Key, The Secret
    V - The View - Wasted Little DJ's
W - Wayne Wonder - No Letting Go
    X - Xpansions - Move Your Body
    Y - Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Maps
    Z - ...... beats me, i'll leave Z to someone else

Not sure if anyone reads these, but i'm chuffed with my list and it killed a good 10 minutes of work. I'm sure there are better songs, but hey, I did find one for X
