Confused...

Greg James | 05:45 UK time, Thursday, 13 November 2008

I'm a red blooded male and I think Beyonce is one of the most beautiful women in the world, however here's a couple of things.

1. This video is for a single off her new album that has already been released in the U.S. I love this song - if it is released in the UK I think it'll be a huge hit. However, in the video, she scares me a little bit. I don't like the violent dancing and there is just something a little odd about it.

2. Rumours abound on the internet that one of the dancers is of dubious gender, i.e. is it a man or a woman? Look closely and discuss.

    2. Yeah... I think someones not really a girl... but maybe its a manly lady... or a girly boy... I guess we'll never know!

  • Comment number 4.

  • Comment number 11.

omg how manly is he/she.. greg i think ur right, bit ott with the dancing lucy x

  • Comment number 12.

'She' has very manly features. that chap should go on the maury show!

  • Comment number 13.

I think she's just a bloody ugly woman.

She's got the right hips for a female, and she's got boobies, and a round bottom.

Then again, so as Chris Moyles lol

  • Comment number 14.

I don't think people should be making judgements on the dancer's gender in such a superficial way. Perhaps the dancer is transgendered and identifies as a woman. Gender identity is what you feel like, not what parts you were born with. If the dancer identifies as a woman then she is a woman.

  • Comment number 15.

wow thats if its a man its had its bits taken off!! not that i looked that closely :D
but he/she has great legs lol
    x

  • Comment number 16.

not gonna lie greg, the one on the left does look like a man but i doubt he/she is coz beyonce has this new found hatred for men so would she hire him/her as a backing dancer? shes always going on about how her all band are all woman etc

  • Comment number 17.

  • Comment number 21.

I think it is a woman, just a bit manly.
why would they dress up a man to look like a woman ? when they could get a woman dancer just as easy, maybe even easier. Might be wrong.
if it is a man, looks like woman, if it is a woman then, doesnt make a very good one. haha S-HE cant win :)
    xxx

  • Comment number 22.

    MAN....MAN....MAN....MAN....MAN....MAN....MAN....MAN....MAN....MAN....MAN....MAN....MAN....MAN....MAN....MAN....MAN....MAN....MAN....

  • Comment number 23.

Hmm, looks like a man at times, but looks like a woman at times... im thinking it is a woman, although i do understand why people think its a man... im going to stick with " it "

  • Comment number 24.

Omg .. Its a Shmale / Gorillia Type Thing

  • Comment number 25.

    Excuse me??
    I'm a laaaaaady!!!

Love the dancing, and I don't think she is a man. Just very manly... you should go more often to the gym and you will see real confusing things...

  • Comment number 26.

After choosing such a cool suggested member name i cant make a mistake))) I think she is a woman))) but with some male features))I am sure she would be very upset if she read another 9 comments))))))Poor dancer))))

  • Comment number 27.

    Why does it matter?
If this woman did used to be a man it has no bearing on fabulous she looks now and if she didn't used to be a man then you are quite mean for suggesting it.

  • Comment number 28.

It turns out she really is a girl, her name's Ebony. She just unfortunately has "strong features".

  • Comment number 29.

    Hi Greg,
I really don't think that's a man, and I'm suprised you do... did you honestly think Beyoncel would have some sort of trans gender dancer? Not that there would be anything wrong with that!

Though I agree she does have STRONG features!

  • Comment number 30.

    Hmmm... Tricky ,
It Definatly Looks Like A Man..
I can see why you think He/She Is..
    Love The Radio Station xx

  • Comment number 31.

I think the dancing is a bit over the top for a music video tbh but ther's no denying beyonce's an amazing dancer!
Not totally seeing the he/sheeness of the dancer, if it is a man where exactly are they hiding their manliness in that leotard!? :p

  • Comment number 32.

i think you will find out they are both male. his name is shane
