Call the leaders: Tavish Scott

On Friday's Morning Extra it's your chance to call the Scottish Liberal Democrat leader, Tavish Scott.
We've been thinking for some time about trying an 'open line' style phone-in where you set the agenda rather than us, so now's your chance.
Whatever's on your mind... whether it's the big issues like the state of the economy and swine flu, or matters close to home such as anti-social behaviour or a lack of decent bus services where you live, I want to hear from you. Usual number: 0500 92 95 00. You can also post some questions here if you wish.
Already comfirmed for future weeks are Annabel Goldie (Conservative) and Iain Gray (Labour). I'll keep you updated of any other names once they're confirmed.

could tavish tell us his and his party's thoughts on the cuts or not cuts controversy.? what would he and his party do differently if they were in sole power in Scotland?

do the lib dems still think being a part of the callman commission is a good political place to be?
if the answer is yes ,how many more times will the lib dems allow the labour party to trample right over the top of them?
i have never voted for anyone else ,but quite frankly their performances lately ,leave me no option but to change that stance.

Two questions to pose to the representative from the Liberal Democrats:
1. Do the Liberal Democrats believe in a non-interventionalist foreign policy having seen the blow-back that occurs over the last 100 years?
2. Do the Liberal Democrats believe in a sound monetary system NOT based on the fiat based, fraction reserve monetary system currently in place?

What are your thoughts since the SNP took control of Holyrood that we have now got a full time Scottish secretary who seems to be grandstanding which didn't happen in the last administration.

Well it would seem Graham has forgotten about the Blog site and the contributors of his program.

Graham announces that this idea will be continued yet, after noting the blog the day before, posting quote You can also post some questions here if you wish. end quote as seen above and briefly mentioning the blog twice during the show no input was made into the show. It could be said that the show was so successful that he was overwhelmed by the questions. It could equally be said he forgot about this area of contribution. In representing the public, advertising a medium for use and being fair in discussion we can only conclude the blog is not a priority.
I wonder if ALL Scottish party representation will be made?

I phoned in to ask (post 3) but unsurprisingly wasn't called.

(6) Graham seems to be quite capable of forgetting or ignoring anything he likes. He comes across as hosting a brash and trail-blazing program not afraid of tackling controversial subjects, but as soon as it becomes to hot or contraversal - he bales out!

I am driving for work while the program is on so I am unable to join in at the time. This 'forum' is my only chance of putting a point.
I have to say, it was quite refreshing and an unexpected faith-restorer to hear Tavish declare he was wrong about his original views on bridge tolls. To hear any politician admit they were wrong about anything is extremely rare - even though their mistakes are regular occurences. I have no faith in anyone who makes mistakes but won't admit it. They cannot be trusted. So politicians - tell the truth and regain public trust and faith in the political system.

No conspiracy folks... we just don't have time to read out every one of the hundreds of texts, emails and blog entries we receive and, as a phone-in show, it's always going to be the case that callers take the greatest priority.

Indeed & I can see why, with, you assure us, 190+ texts & emails none of the 10 blog commenters or indeed myself as a caller got the rare honour.

Graham if what you say is correct then the blog contributions would have some say but recall no such inclusion. From the mindset it would be the collective and not the individual that is considered. Ironic when the collective is nothing more then a banner for the individuals.
