Truro City Councillor Loic Rich, who represented Mebyon Kernow in last year's general election, tells me how pleased he is with his new political home in the Conservative Party. "I do, really, genuinely believe in what the Conservative Party is doing," he says. "I know many people think the Tories are the party for the Home Counties but that's just not true. The Conservatives really care about Cornwall."

  • Comment number 1.

You could not get two more diametrically opposed ideologies; he has shot himself truly in the foot unless he can properly explain how he has managed to move from one extreme to the other, as things stand it looks like he wants to ride the gravy train at any cost because he is misleading at least one set of voters at opposing sides of the political spectrum. Like it or not the above quotes fuel the conspiracy theories and paint an image of a very confused person who seems to have a belief system based around his own political success rather than what he real feels is best.

I do not think it possible to argue against the above statement.
