...On this blog.  Sorry for the last couple of months but we've had a few (ahem) technical issues.  That's all sorted now so spread the word about this Blog!

What do you talk about when you get stuck in a lift with the Sona Family?  No, that's not the start of a Desi joke, its what happened this weekend when I DJ'ed in Switzerland for the Mahamaya club nights 5th Birthday celebrations!

The suggestion that I should spend the day dressed up as Michael Jackson went down well - and this just how it went down!

  3. We Won! Best Radio Show 2009 UK AMA's.

    Last night the Friction show won in the best Radio Show category at the 2009 UK Asian Music Awards.  It was an award that I dedicated to the Amazonian Radio warriors who have pulled the show (and me!) together four times a week for the last three years.

  5. Tru Skool In Da Studio

    Last week Tru Skool (as in Specialist & Truskool) dropped in to launch his new album with Kaos Productions.  As per usual this slightly difficult and quiet producer didn't say much - but still managed to let his brilliantly constructed music fill in the gaps.  The album is another quality product with enough pure desi vibes as well as phat bass and beats to keep the dance floor happy.
