It is a tiddly bit self indulgent to spend so much of a news programme on a set of a TV programme, let alone an opposition one.

Yes I do watch quite a few parts of Corrie and I would like to say that I know it's a soap but the real prison world would not allow any of the Stape story line, including the almost continuous visits and the on/off wedding. There is no Prison officer like the guy who seems to love Stape. It is the most far fetched of a group of very far fetched stories running at the moment.

Ooops as they say in the new home of Five Live, reality slipped away and soap took over. Get this rubbish off the station and please get on to the important news of the day.

Why are there 2 blogs about Coronation Street, but nowhere to discuss important things like MPs expenses for example?
5Live, I think you have got your priorities all wrong!

I saw it Shelagh and Ok but I still am not going to become a regular viewer of Corrie. I don't know who anyone is. Shaun/Sean/ Antony etc
12 out of 14? Nice. Loopy Lou. See the post immediately below this one - or does it become redundant because it doesn't say Tuesday whatever?
Just for Shelagh and her thespian moment.

Posters on the BBC Points of Views message board are banned from discussing anything other than BBC programme. How odd then that you can devote a portion of a BBC broadcast to an ITV programme??????

Shelagh gave a nice plug to the present and previous sponsors of Corrie.

    No advertising on the BBC.

Now we have Nicky plugging his swing album.

Hmm, one thinks with the giant tax supported media conglomerate that is the Book, Magazine, Radio, Internet and Television service called the BBC, a little cross media advertisings may occur!

One ponders on their visit to Manchester, we could kill two birds with one stone. Use the back to back terraces in Flopitall Street to house those exiles expected in Manchester, when Radio Five Drivel is run out of London for good.

I must admit to having no interest in any TV soap, so the off button did its job.
