Teens abused
A quarter of teenagers have suffered violence in a relationship, according to the NSPCC. On the Breakfast Phone in from 9 we want to hear your experiences of teenage relationships. Has your son or daughter been in one which went wrong? How did you deal with it? If you have suffered physical or emotional abuse in a teenage relationship how did you deal with it?
Jean texted us "I left my 1st boyfriend when he hit me. My 2nd boyfriend also hit me to shut me up when I didn't agree with him. I did marry him after ten years and two kids. He now no longer wants nor needs me. I've pushed him to start divorce proceedings".

I never thought I would agree with Lynette Roberts about anything but I share her doubts about this research. I would like to hear where they got their sample when the University of Bristol carried out the survey.
I am sorry I just do not believe those stats.

Pretty shocking to hear the first caller describing what happened to his daughter with a boy "off the local estate". Who then went on to say his son was waiting for the chap to come out of prison for an unrelated matter so that the son could get him and obtain vengeance. It says alot.
I agree this is an awful Kyle-type phone in which adds nothing to the actual discussion which should have taken place about the survey, which I still think sounds flawed.

Lack of parenting and with what has popular culture been feeding the minds of our young boys and girl for the last 15-20 years?? Therein lies your answer. IMO.....it's very easy to see for anyone with an ounce of common sense.
