A gr8 way to text!
On a programme that relies heavily on text messages to gauge the enthusiasm or otherwise of the audience we thought we would speak to a "textpert" this morning.
Professor David Crystal from Cambridge University has written a book about "txting" and is on a panel of judges today tasked with finding the nation's best text poet.
He spoke to Phil Williams about why texting has developed in the way it has, but also why words such as "obviously" and "like" are so annoying to so many people when used in conversation.
Have a listen to the interview and you can learn some text lingo.
ta4nw (that's all for now)
David
