Capital of culture
We brought the programme live from Liverpool on Friday morning (Jan 11th) as it officially became the European Capital of Culture.
Listen to the programme again and have a look at the photos.
Shelagh's guided tour
Shelagh decided to drive Nicky to Liverpool in her car before giving him a tour of her hometown; watch the video below.
Urban Golf
Nicky thought he would try his hand at some street theatre and enjoyed a round of urban golf. Watch him in action below.
The locals speak out
Nicky took to the streets to find out what Liverpool residents thought of their great city. He discovered that Liverpool couldn't be beaten on most cultural aspects although Manchester did get one over the city by being the home to the the Jeremy Kyle show! Watch the video below.
The Wombats play live
What a way to finish the programme! Liverpool's newest and coolest band The Wombats played us out: watch the superb performance below.
Shelagh visted St Austins School and we recieved this email from Michael Keenan.
We just had your reporters in our school - the children were very excited - to talk to them about their Liverpool Treasure boxes. Thought you might like to see some of our Liverpool Treasure films that we made as part of a Capital of Culture project the school has been involved in. Great to have you up in Liverpool - hope you get treated well during your visit.
Watch the Liverpool Treasure films below.
