The top story this morning...
Are the supermarkets taking over? Well it's not quite that bad yet, but this morning we hear the concerns of the Competition Commission who are investigating how the big supermarkets operate.
Could the Afghan poppy harvest be the solution to a shortage of the painkiller diamorphine? Yesterday we talked about Iraqis fleeing the country, this morning we hear about those who are going home.
With two-thousand-and-twelve days to go until the London Olympics, the Prime Minister's still keen. But is it all going as well as he'd like us to think? We hear the concerns of some MPs.
And England's cricketers are maiking New Zealand toil in the latest one day match we have the latest.

Hi there I was sitting in my car yesterday morning around 8.30am and heard Nicky talking about the Breakfast Blog. I really wanted to post an entry to the blog but didn't have the tools.
So I set about searching for how to blog via mobile.... and found this site.
http://simoncrowfoot.livejournal.com/76499.html
It's a blog site powered by something called Speak-a-Blog. Call the number from your mobile and watch your voice appear on the screen.
You should get it onto your blog - might help you get more from your listeners.
I look forwsrd to using it on the b'fast blog
Really enjoy the show - keep it up thanks!
There are news reports here in Miami about the following:
1. ETA [The Terrorist Organization in Spain: Anyone who commits acts of violence in my opinion are terrorists] is considering a move from Cuba to another area of Latin America in view of the deteriorating situation in Cuba with Castro's Health
2. Independents [including Greens and Libertarians] are still demonstrating for the impeachment of Bush and Cheney.
3. Miami-Dade County is voting in a referendum to give their mayor sweeping powers. It appears that 70% of the People favor a mayor with stronger powers.
4. Miami is preparing for the Super Bowl.

You had a big discussion on how trains are useless lately. Im one of the few who has never had a problem with them and would rather jump on a train than drive.
Living in South Birmingham, our train line into Birmingham City Centre is never packed. They come once every 30 mins and are usually always on time aswell.
We also have Bormingham Uni on our train line, and even when it fills up when all the students get on, its never that bad.
I also travel a lot. I have mates scattered all over the country. Only once have i ever experienced a train cancellation. And to garantee you get a seat, its easy enough to reserve a seat. As long as you dont mind tellin some random to get out your seat when you get on.
Adios for now,
Mark
Bush is doing is Annual State of the Union for 2007. It is another exercise in futility. I prefer the company of BBC Five Live including Breakfast and Up All Night.
