No, I haven't gone all feline on your collective you know whats. The band were in session on the show this week, along with This Town Needs Guns, two bands who have a split album out on Big Scary Monsters records as of......now! They both hav a post-rock groove about them - emotional, inventive, big and beautiful. Listen again if you missed it, and it was nice to have live music from Maida Vale in sesison.
I compered an Oxjam gig tonight in London - Members of Me , Get Cape.Wear Cape.Fly and Hot Chip all played, and our very own mr Bobby Friction was djing - and all sounded absolutely brilliant. Oxjam has started, with gigs and events happening all over the place. You know that Oxfam is a charity that does important work - get involved with these gigs and music events through their site.
