Roman Numericals.....

I'm rubbish at maths, and Roman Numericals. Clean George IV are in session on this week's show. That's fourth in case you didn't know (like me. I'm ashamed). They're a brilliant band, as loved by Vic Galloway and Colin Murray, and the session sounds mighty fine: rambling, eloquent, angry and soulful. Had a blast on the show, lots of new hip hop by Raw Linx, Forbidden Tongues and Frequencies of Life to check out.

Before the show I popped out to see Threatmantics, the viola playing threesome from Cardiff. I like them a lot, it was good to see them on top form last night supporting Euros Childs. My view on Euros is that he's a musical genius, his songs take me to another dimension. So good.

Tonight on Radio 1 in Wales, Beth and me have the pleasure of Dan le Sac vs Scroobious Pip's company. Can't wait
