I love the fact that its Bonnie Tyler, but quite disappointed with the song - it's a bit too bland and possibly won't stand out enough. It's a bit like the Hump last year...

You treat Eurovision as a joke - but if the other countries take it seriously, nobody's laughing and we're the only ones sneering from the sidelines - isn't the joke on us?

To all the Eurovision team at the BBC. Firstly let me thank you for choosing Bonnie and this song with your best intentions I'm sure. It's somewhat confusing that you've decided to go for a senior artist for the second time in a row, but I believe this song is stronger than Love Will Set You Free, and it doesn't oversell itself. We're able to see on YouTube, thanks to the concert footage from Berlin, that Bonnie sings this song live very well, and is well supported by her backing singers.
Your priority should now be to make sure that Bonnie is vocally loud and clear and well backed by those powerful harmonies on the final night in Sweden. Pay close attention to choosing your camera angles, make good use of the lighting facilities to emphasise on the best parts of the song, and make sure Bonnie interacts with the camera rather than goes through the motions. I don't think this song is good enough to win, as Germany have entered the likes of Cascada, plus there are a few stronger ballads from Austria, Georgia and Ukraine, but top 10 is very doable if this song is executed as best as it can be. I'm backing Bonnie all the way and I look forward to seeing her SHINE (more than Austria's singer for sure!) on the Swedish stage! Please don't let us down, and please keep the fans informed and get us involved, let us help YOU! Thank you. -- Ben, 24.
