Bon Voyage Mark!

I'm afraid I went straight into talking politics and was remiss in wishing Mark Devenport a lovely well deserved rest while I blogsit! I'm starting to think babysitting would have been easier than all this new technology. But I'll be sure and keep an eye on the latest developments in the political process - and the much anticipated meeting of party leaders determined to agree a ministerial line-up.

In Mark’s absence I trust you’ll continue his innovation of putting stupid questions to the politicians. Indeed the new dictum for all you political commentators should be, and here I paraphrase Bill Clinton’s Presidential campaign slogan: “It’s the stupid question, Stupid.”

I forgot to wish Mark a well-deserved break also away from one of those 'sad' people, who blog here almost every day!
I wish you well while you stand in for Mark and am sure you will enjoy the different exchange of views which are posted here on a regular basis!

ask as many stupid questions as you like of the MLA's as they will be doing it up on 'the hill' for the next 5 years with teams of civil servants then spending days drafting replies.
