Light the blue touch paper and run! Looks as though this next week(13/08/2012) is going to be must watch TV for all Eastenders fans. Sharon is back, her time on the Square might be limited so if you blink you'll miss her! Cast your mind back 8 years to the death of her Dad, the Police might want to have a word with her about his death and whether she was involved, also she has managed to get herself in trouble again so it'll all kick off as the saying goes! Great news about Eastenders being back on primetime BBC1 and BBC1HD, and seven episodes!

Can not wait. Sharon is one of the best characters on the show. I just love her. LaptopCharlieB she was nothing to do with her fathers death, Chrisse already confessed to it so the case is closed. And she has signed for a year so its not a blink it or miss it :)

Tell me if I'm being stupid, but why does everyone keep saying seven episodes? If it's on everyday and a double on Monday is that not 8?

I just need to air my feelings about the recent changes to the Eastenders schedule...I'm sick of it! It's so frustrating when you sit down to watch your fave soap to find it's not on yet again, with no prior announcement during the credits of the previous episode. Then it pops up on BB2 without warning and you miss it! In a last ditch attempt to catch up with my 'enders friends I switched over to BBC 3 at 10pm, but no, it'd been pushed back to 11pm which is past my bedtime! Ok, ok I know we're being treated by 7 episodes next week which I'm really looking forward to, but this does not excuse the fact I have been messed about, confused, frustrated and disappointed in recent weeks. In future could I please suggest the BBC allocate a consistent temporary slot for the show i.e. 8pm on BBC 3 during sports seasons/royal celebrations etc. Thank you!

What have they got Jean wearing this week she is a middle aged woman wearing a tiny mini skirt. It is bad enough seeing the awful 50 something Shirley always in mini skirts but they just do not go with Jeans character who is a somewhat timid person struggling with Bipolar would she really wear mini skirts is she trying to rival Kat
