After arriving in Walford on Christmas Day, Mick’s family soon arrive and settle into their new home, The Queen Victoria, and it doesn’t take them long to make their presence known… We really think that pink is Mick's colour!

Mick loves his missus, his kids, his dog, the monarchy, a bit of Land of Hope and Glory. He's a bloke's bloke who, having spent most of his life surrounded by women, is actually a big softie. He thinks nothing of throwing on Linda's pink dressing gown and cooking breakfast for the family in the morning before getting the beer barrels ready downstairs.

Mick arrives in Walford on Christmas Day, with the rest of the Carter clan joining him on Boxing Day. Dont miss it!

Eastenders are brining in so many new characters but are not utilizing the ones tey have already got, they need to make sure they give these new characters good storylines. so many characters have now left because they haven't been given decent screentime, such as ray, tyler, joey, ava, etc. I was also kinda hoping that eastenders would move in a completely new family in to the square instead of extending the Shirley carter family. I did not want to see somebodies extended family just a new fresh family to bring something new, however I am a fan of danny dyer but was hoping for a new family. I hope eastenders can make the most of all characters when they bring them in to the square, because they need to improve the characters and create better storylines.

I think this years eastenders was so disappointing, it was an average episode but I was not jumping off my seat like the other Christmas episodes, I only carried on watching because carol and david were in the episode, two of my favourite characters, but apart from that it was actually kind of boring and did not live up to my expectations. Eastenders could have done better. It was okay but not as dramatic as I would have liked. There was not much of a build up to the Christmas extravganza, so I was not really looking forward to the Christmas episode in the first place,Lets hope that eastenders can do better on new years day to make up towards the disappointing Christmas episode last night. Really downhill since last year, however the episode was endurable and there were some nice moments, apart from that needs dramtic improvement.

I thought the Christmas episode was amazed. I was really focused on what was happening towards the end, because it was exciting to find out who had the recording and if she was going to be caught by the police.

I love Shirley and Mick together. Linda Henry and Danny Dyer are a winning combo. Looking forward to Stan and Aunt Babe and finding out the history of the Carters! Shirley and Sharon are like a young Pat and Peggy - brilliant. Glad they are both getting back to their best- bitter jealous Shirley and bitchy Sharon didn't work for me. Masood, David, Billy and Patrick are also mainstays and brilliant characters. I only started watching again in September after a long time of not watching and i'm glad I did. Good solid-gold entertainment.

Yeah I saw the Christmas Day episode and have met Shirleys brother Mick. Well it looks like Shirley's luck has changed, she has a good family around her. Well I look forward to seeing more of Mick serving behind the bar, and I wonder what he has got planned for New Years Eve.. Well I hope that we all enjoy these episodes. Take good care, all the very best, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Bye.
