Cindy Junior arrives in Albert Square

I hope the Beales have a sofa bed because it's a full house this summer! After Peter Beale's recent return to Walford, his younger half-sister, Cindy Junior, feels lonely - so decides to spend the holidays with the family she should have grown up with.  Little does Ian know that Cindy has no intention of returning to Devon...

Cindy Beale Junior

To jog your memory, Cindy Junior was the love child of her mother's fling with Italian stallion, Nick Holland. However Cindy later died during childbirth whilst serving time in prison having hired a hitman to kill Ian... life's never dull in Walford! After Cindy's death, Ian decided to name the baby in her mother's honour. The baby went to live with her grandma and aunt in Devon.

Cindy truly is her mother's daughter, with her father's dark Italian looksto. Not yet 15, but already a magnet for trouble, she relishes the attention it brings. But deep down Cindy is lonely and after living it up with Peter, she yearns to be embraced by the family she should have grown up in.

Played by Mimi Keene, whose previous credits include Our Girl, Cindy is cheeky and hugely likeable; there's never a dull moment when she's around. Cindy has no fears or inhibitions - and often ends up in hot water as a result. It's only a matter of time before she begins to stir up trouble in Albert Square.

Lorraine Newman, Executive Producer added: "Mimi is an exciting addition to the show and a great actress, as her previous work has shown. Cindy's a minx, creating a great energy within the newly reformed Beale clan. With Peter, Lucy, Bobby and Cindy to contend with, it'll be a lively household, Ian and Denise will certainly have their work cut out."

Mimi's first episode as Cindy transmits in August 2013. We can’t wait for you to meet her!

Not sure about this character to be honest .The show seems to be getting new individual characters on to the show when I think they should get rid of the massods and some other characters like Fatboy , poppy , Alice , joey ,Lola and I would say Tyler but he is leaving anyway. And concentrate on bringing some new family's to the show .got to say I think Ava and Dexter are a good addition to the show.I wouldn't mind Fatboy , poppy Tyler being on the show but they never get any main storylines witch I think is unfair and Lola and Alice I just think are boring characters to watch .So Eastenders get a couple new family's and maybe some older people dots age so we can see some funny scenes with her like back in the day with Ethel

I'm pleased that the Beale family is being re-vitalised. Character sounds promising. I like that she is connected to EE past. Can't wait to see her on screen and especially how she interacts with Lucy. I have a feeling they will clash.

Good luck at EE Mimi. But I still think that EE should be developing better story lines before introducing new charater because their charaters won't be getting any intrest at all

Not sure what to think about that! I'm not the biggest fan of the Beale family though! I like Ian and Denise but the Beale children, not really keen on them!, so please don't bring Steven back!! Shame, there is still no sign of Joey and Alice mother!!!! Already said that, but they really should cast her, it would be a great addition to the show especially now that Tanya's leaving!!!
