Determined to prove his innocence, Max heads to The Vic to show he has nothing to do with the car crash. Carl arrives soon after, determined to rile Max again. Following him outside, Carl purposely winds up Max. We sense a scrap brewing!

Max doesn’t retaliate until Carl makes a sly comment about Kirsty, but that's enough to make him see red and start swinging punches...

Will there be consequences for Max's outburst? Find out tomorrow (Friday) at 8pm on BBC One.

East Enders is currently ranked third and you wonder why? whos idea it was to do it all about the kids thats why! its not Hollyoaks and have you ever heared of if its not broken dont fix it people want old school East End and older powerful charecters like good old Pat Butcher its the wrong time of night for it to be all about the kids, bring back the old East End and a few older wiser charecters, Its only my opinion.

This was posted on Friday (the day of the episode where max punches carl) and some how it said "Find out tomorrow" when it was actually that same day. Bit stupid...
Agree with blog123. The fights in Eastenders are not worth happening if they are just going to disappoint us.

Another fight lasting two seconds .I understand the show can not show to much violence so why bother at all nearly every week or so there's somebody punching someone .I wouldn't mind if the show showed a fight once in a blue moon but the whole show is turning in to characters who just go around scraping every time they have a problem

I only hope that Max clobbered Carl because of his inablility to act. I mean, come on, the guy can only do a pathetic attempt to imitate DeNiro's famous evil grin out of the corner of the mouth. Hope that is where is was whacked.

You're only making things worse being chippy, Max; nice right though!
