Photo spoilers: A sign of things to come

EastEnders Blog Team

What's in a name?

When it comes to the plaque above The Vic's door - a lot. Kat turns the corner just as Roxy and Alfie celebrate the new sign - with Roxy's name on it - with a big kiss. That's gotta hurt!?

Truth be told

Whitney decides to tell Tyler the about Joey kissing her before Christmas. Unsurprisingly he reacts badly, confronts Joey and dumps Whitney! Oh dear.

Change of heart

Tyler realises he still loves Whitney and decides to show her just how much! With a little help from a few small friends he pops the question... What will she say!?

Market mates

Bianca and Kat decide to set up a stall in the market together! What is it they'll be selling and how will the rest of the stall holders react?

Unwelcome house guest!

Oooh, you really don't want to mess with Zainab! A fresh out of the shower Ayesha tells Masood how she feels about him - again. How will he react this time?!

@Bigsmile76 - I totally agree with you. I think people who want Kalfie are stuck in the past. It's like they don't care how badly Kat has treated Alfie, they want him to keep forgiving her and giving her another chance time and time again. Put yourself in his shoes and think if you would really give the woman or man another chance?? How can you want a loveable character to keep staying in such a horrible relationship? It seems that these people only care about Kat and just want her to have a great man, never mind the man's feelings - he is a humab being too!

@Northern Clutter - you say Roxy is immature, selfish etc but so is Kat and Kat's worse. At least Roxy is good to her boyfriends, Kat just cheats and she tries to keep Alfie under her thumb. I have no sympathy for Kat. She put herself in the situation that she's in now. If she's upset at seeing Alfie and ROxy and the sign, tough. You reap what you sow.

@Sacky - Masood a stupid, middle aged man? He's not even 50 so he's not middle aged. Sure Ayshea's young enough to be his daughter. How can he not be bowled over, she's stunning! What about Carol when she had an affair with Connor? Goes both ways! Nobody called her a stupid middle aged woman. Stop the sexism!

@KalfieFan - Sure, deep down Alfie may well love Kat but he's had enough of her cheating. You say that she has her reasons why she cheats on alfie and you see her side of the story, So do you really think that Alfie should constantly put up with her cheating and stay with her no matter what? You said "the best couples go through everything together and come out the other end as a better person" How many times did Kat cheat on Alfie and did she ever become a better person? NO. She just had another affair. Would you stay with a spouse like Kat? Someone who constantly cheated on you?

I don't know if you are male or female but I have a feeling that you are female and I wonder how you would feel about Kalfie if it was Alfie cheating on Kat? Would you want them back together then?

monalisa, I agree about child protection taking a baby/child away without cause and giving her/him to a grandparent - after warning that the alternative was foster care. My son & his g/f went thru that nightmare and their son is still with her mother because they don't have the money to pay for all the testing that now has to be done to get him back. I was told I couldn't take him because I take too many medications. My doc offered to write a letter saying I was perfectly fit to foster the boy, but they were not interested anymore. They'd consider me if something happened and the other grandmother couldn't take care of him anymore. I'm still waiting for her to get hit by lightening.

I was fuming every time a social worker showed up at Lola's place - I almost couldn't watch. I wanted to scream RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY! But something told me it wouldn't do any good. lol

As for the whole Kat/Alfie/Roxy thing - I just don't see any spark between Roxy and Alfie at all. And frankly, I prefer Kat's character over Roxy's. Roxy is too immature, insensitive, selfish and self-centered. I've felt that way ever since she was always trying to get Christian to party with her even when he had told her he should spend more time with Syed. But I was also puzzled regarding why Kat cheated at all - and with Derek Branning of all people. This was not well thought out, this storyline.

Don't see the spark between Jack and Sharon either. Not at all. Jack and Ronnie were much better suited, they both have a quite poise, an innate class. Sharon and a thug like Phil, yes. Sharon and a doll like Jack, no.

the lexi/lola s/l is the most realistic. ok not the part where lexi got taken off lola and given to phil but it happens in real life where grandparents want to keep their grandchild and take it away from its mother and to be fair lola did say it was ok for phil to have her and she was warned some people irl arent warned an it goes on for a lot longer than this

where is shirley she needs to be in it more and more involved its ridiculous

Oh, I protest against the lazy storyline around Lexy. No way would child protection services award an alcoholic, crack head, narscissist like Phil take care of a baby!!!! Please get rid of Phil, his character and storylines are soooooooooooooo predictable it's plain old boring, Ditto Zainab and the Branning brothers. Too many bullies and victim wives in one show for the 21st century!

Yes, go for it Masood! Dump the uber-bitch-wife that should have choacked on humble pie after the zillion trauma's she has caused and been through.
Together with Phil's story line with baby Lexy, it's the least convincing so far

well Zainab has been on the One Show and said she was leaving Enders, so that gives us a clue. She will discover this outrageous affair (yes, Ayesha is stunning but young enough to be his daughter) so I guess Zainab will eventually storm out. Can't see how Masood can redeem himself - stupid, middle aged man bowled over by a babe! Get real.
