EastEnders has scooped a massive seven Inside Soap Awards, including the coveted Best Soap award!

We were on the red carpet (it was actually pink) and managed to grab some of our lucky winners for a chat.

Aside from the Best Soap crown, our EastEnders winners were:

Sexiest Male: David Witts (aka Joey Branning)

I think you could quite easily find a better looking male. I think my mum voted for me a thousand times... Bless you all for voting. It's really very sweet of you

Funniest Female: Tameka Empson (aka Kim Fox)

Thank you thank you thank you. I love playing Kim and I love the fact that they love Kim aswell. My mantelpiece is going to look very lovely with this on it! Tameka Empson

Don't forget that 'The B&B' , Tameka's self-penned reality documentary about Kim's adventures, airs online in October...

Best Actress: Gillian Wright (aka Jean Slater)

It means so much that this is voted by the public. The fact that what I do has touched the hearts of the people out there, enough to make them want to vote for me. I'm over the moon, I really am! Gillian Wright

Best Newcomer: Hetti Bywater (aka Lucy Beale)

It's amazing. I really didn't expect it. When I was told I was nominated, I was screaming. When I got told I'd won it, I couldn't believe it. I was like

Funniest Male: Ricky Norwood (aka Fatboy)

Best Bitch: Charlie Brooks (aka Janine Butcher)

Ricky and Charlie didn't make it to the red carpet, but huge congratulations to both. We know that they were bowled over to win their awards!

WELL DONE WELL DONE!!!!!!!!!! Eastenders have done GREAT this year and we are all so very proud of all of the eastenders for making it so great! quick question: who won best soap?

well i voted for the right people and they all desrved it well done all at Eastenders you are all the best Jean you are a wonderfull actress and you play the role so well it so real. You are wonderfull we love u very much. I just love Eastenders big fan lili

joey looks cute with his pocket watch, and jean is an amazing actress for her role, which may look easy but thats only cuz she makes it look that way, it might be hard 2 portray her character, but she does it great. 2 bad fatboy and janine cudnt be there, would have loved 2 have seen them.
