Big congratulations to Jo Joyner who was named Best Actress, and also her character Tanya Jessop and hubby Max Branning (Jake Wood) have been voted Best Couple by the readers of All About Soap! "We're over the moon," gushes Jake Wood, "It's the first time we've won."

EastEnders' third award went to Michael French. The return of wayward son, David Wicks caused much excitement (and swooning) when he arrived on The Square to bid his mum farewell. David's return has been voted Best Comeback. "I am chuffed to win. Thank you to all the viewers who voted," says Michael French.
