The British Soap Awards longlist voting has now closed, and the shortlist will be announced later this week. The public decides who wins in the following categories...
Villain of the Year
Who's the baddest of them all? Yusef Khan, Ben Mitchell and Phil Mitchell
Sexiest Male
Choices, choices - who's for you? On the longlist are Marc Eliott (Syed Masood), Scott Maslen (Jack Branning) and John Partridge (Christian Clarke).
Sexiest Female
Soap Award, Soap Award on the wall who's the sexiest female of them all? Jacqueline Jossa (Lauren Branning), Meryl Fernandes (Afia Masood) and Preeya Kalidas (Amira Masood)
Best Actor
Who's delivered the best performances of the year? Steve McFadden (Phil Mitchell), Nitin Ganatra (Masood Ahmed) and Shane Richie (Alfie) are up for this award.
Best Actress
Which leading lady has delivered the most award-worthy performance of the year? Jo Joyner (Tanya Branning), Lindsey Coulson (Carol Jackson) and Nina Wadia (Zainab Masood) are all up for the award.
Best Soap
Tanya's cancer struggle, Pat's death, Yusef's Boxing Day fire horror, Kimba, Phil's stalker, Fat Boy/Whitney and Tyler's love triangle... we could go on... EastEnders is up for Best Soap.

It's hard to pick best actress! I'd like all three of them to win it. Picking villain of the year was much easier.

Why wasn't Jake Wood not nominated this year, he is way better than the other 3 that are nominated, why do the same 3 people be nominated for the sexiest male, its been 3 years now.
Sexiest Male: Scott Maslen
Sexiest Female: Jacquline Jossa
Villian of the Year: Ace Bhatti
Best Actor: I randomly just voted for Steve Mcfadden
Best Actress: Jo Joyner
Best Soap: Eastenders

My choices are,
Sexiest Male: Marc Elliott, he is absolutely gorgeous.
Villain of the year: Dr Evil
Best Actress: Jo Joyner or Nina Wadia both deserve to win.
If there is an award for best onscreen partnership I would love Johnny Partridge & Marc Elliott to win.
