EastEnders nominated for Screen Nation Awards and MVSAs

EastEnders has received a number of nominations in this year's Screen Nation Awards, celebrating the best in Black British talent.

Arinze Kene (Connor Stanley), is up for two awards - firstly, in the Favourite Male TV Star category, and secondly alongside Devon Anderson (Billie Jackson) for the Emerging Talent award.

Tameka Empson aka Kim Fox is up for Favourite Female TV Star. While, Bunmi Mojekwu (Mercy Olubunmi) is up for a gong in the Young Shooting Star (16-23) category.

EastEnders is also nominated in the Diversity in Drama Production category.

Ellen Thomas, who plays Mercy and Faith's grandmother, Grace Olubunmi, and Sharon Duncan Brewster who played Denise's love rival, Trina Johnson, also get special mentions.

But that's not all!

EastEnders is also nominated in the Best Drama with a Black Cast category at the Birmingham Black International Film and Music Video & Screen Awards
