Well the baby was no surprise....knew it from when she left. All I want to know is who's the father because didn't she also sleep with Danny? Loved the Chryed scenes as always, and I just hope things turn out for the best for everyone involved. Will be a very bumpy ride but I hope everything goes smoothly :D Can't see my Chryed split up again :) Want them happy - with or without baby :D

I knew she would have a baby as she was pregnant when she left but will Syed find out? I am so curious about this story line and i hope all goes well for Chryed but i wonder how Cryed are going to get on when they hear about they baby... Can't wait until Friday!

Totally irrelevant to this but when writing to one of the cast, do you have to include a second envolope with your address written on so the stars can return it more easily?

I hope they don't break up Syed and Christian they are great and They waited a long time to get together it would be a shame, if they broke up after all that time together waiting and putting up with all the abuse from Masood and being a outcast from the Muslim community, Syed didn't mean to do it but he couldn't help how he felt his true feeling's, and I do think if he see's the baby he might want something to do with it.

I watched the first episode aired again! XD Again, bad acting by whoever plays Amira. I bet this baby will break Syed and Christian up for sure. It's the 'Enders way :)

Amira never slept with Danny - they just kissed once.
It's misleading to have a story where Quadim says that no man will want Amira - I know lots of muslim men who would want Amira ;-) Seriously, I know lots that will want her regardless of the fact that she is divorced with a child

I loved the Chryed scenes so cute! i agree the baby wasnt really a secret lol i really realy hope they dont spilt chryed up yes there will be drama but please please on behalf of all Chryed fans dont split our boys up thank you lol Hannah xxx

Chryed's scenes on the red button were amazing, i was only expecting to see Amira and Qadim, so Chryed's scenes were an absolute treat, could they be any cuter ?! I ♥ Chryed. I have to say Amira's big secret was hardly a secret, i was'nt expecting a twist. Hopefully Chryed's love will triumph once again during the inevitable upcoming drama, they're going to be so shocked when they find out about the baby.

boooring storyline.Like when eastenders was about Gangster and not about random muslim stereotypes

The knock on effect of this story line,Amira has had Syed's baby,Christian and Syed want to get married but have previously said they want to adopt a child..........fill in the blanks, Eastenders are becoming too staid I could have written these scripts they are too lame, I have watched Eastenders since day one never missed an episode(sad I know!!!) Take me back to the good old days when you were really kept in suspense through out the episode not just on the DOOF DOOF'S,I've got some blinding storylines for Eastenders true to life if they want them trust me my whole life has been one Eastenders storyline but with more twists and turns it would seriously mess with your head!!! and you couldn't make it up.

I'm a little concerned about how Christian and Syed were portrayed here. It's not their fault that Amira has been treated this way - it's her psychotic father's. Worryingly, since Amira and Qadim have always been portrayed as liberal, educated, modern Muslims (who, coincidently, would have been shunned by the people who would judge them anyway because Qadim was previously in prison) I can't help but think her 'prisoner' status comes from a need to serve up the drama rather than realism. If EE want to do that at least make it clear that beyond religion/culture and her own heartbreak (the only thing the couple are responsible for) it's Qadim's treatment of her since the 'reveal' that's made her feel like 'damaged goods'. Anything else unjustly represents Amira's situation and Christian and Syed's role in her ostracisation.

The Red Button episodes were very good, on the whole, though the inference that Syed had been in love with Amira as a wife, rather than loving her as a sister/friend which was the closest to the truth, was, I fear, shoe-horned in there on the instructions of "The Powers That Be" so that future episodes might contain the spurious "suspense" that Syed might decide that he's not gay after all and will leave Christian for a "happy" life with his wife and child, which would be ludicrous, crass in the extreme and an insult to the intelligence of (many of) the audience!

The extra mini-episodes contained the kind of conversations between Christian and Syed that have too often been lacking in the bona fide episodes and we have been left to join the dots and fill in the blanks,to mix a few metaphors. TPTB have been afraid, I suspect, that if they showed too much in the way of powerful and poignant scenes, with meaningful dialogue and suffused with genuine tenderness between Syed and Christian, then they might get one too many complaints from Mr.and Mrs. Homophobe of Bigotville, hence the consignment of these important scenes, pivotal to the coming storyline, to the Red Button and the Net! They should have been part of the normal episodes! Johnny and Marc deserve better!

And I hope against hope that TPTB will realise that devotees of this very special couple and the Chryed relationship ALSO deserve better and that they should be brave enough, no matter what dramas they might throw at Christian and Syed in the run-up to Christmas, to allow them to come through it united and strengthened by the struggle and more in love than ever (if that were possible!). They are by far the most believeable,powerfully-portrayed couple in the whole show, but are rarely given the prominence they deserve!

I hope and pray that EE does everything it can to keep Johnny and Marc on board for the foreseeable future, with meaty but CREDIBLE storylines for Christian and Syed, told in the main episodes with sufficient screentime. The programme would be immeasureably the poorer without them!!!
