World record breaker Mark Beaumont cycled from Anchorage, Alaska to Ushuaia in Southern Argentina. Following the line of the mountain ranges which form the American Cordillera, he also climbed the two highest peaks Mount McKinley and Aconcagua, on foot. What a great part of the world! My wife and I are just about to embark on our own adventure. We're emigrating to Chile. I haven't seen all of the country yet but I do intend to. Make sure you visit La Serana, Santiago, Vina del Mar and further south, Pucon. The Dakar Rally will also be in Chile from the 5 - 12th Jan if you're about? Have a good final leg of your trip and don't drink too much Pisco Sour!
